10/10We arrived early and the staff were very welcoming & were happy either to show us to our table or seat us for drinks. The food & service were excellent & where we sat looking into the garden was lovely in the sunshine. Highly recommended

It was a beautiful little journey to reach Torcello from our hotel in Dorsoduro for Sunday lunch. The staff were very attentive and the food choices were great. Our meals were beautifully cooked and presented and our meal was well paced. We each had pasta to start, then the seafood plate and the duck to follow. We shared some fig ice-cream which was delicious and had an excellent Expresso to complete our meal. I think this is the best value meal we have had in Venice so far. We have paid more for many recommended meals on the mainland and none have been this quality! I do hope we will have a chance to return.

10/10This is a go to restaurant of ours. A delicious menu and superb wine list. Faultless service and delightful setting. Stefano is an exemplary maitre d’. Worth the detour to Torcello to eat here.

10/10Superb lunch. Sensitive and attentive service. Beautiful garden and delightful food creatively presented. The spider crab and asparagus was divine. The turbot was fabulous. Excellent wines. A very special celebration of friendship.

6/10Fish frittura was really nice -- we shared it as a starter. Main course was below par. Served on cold plates. In such a restaurant you would expect your food to be served on hot plates ; beef filet was cold and overcooked. I gave it back. Others at the table had eel which was also not hot enough. We had expected more of this restaurant ...We came all the ay from Venice to have lunch here...

10/10This restaurant is hidden away in Torcello, we came here from a friends recommendation. Otherwise, Torcello wouldn’t be on our agenda. We came for lunch because they only serve dinner on weekend nights. The food was good overall and the seafood was fresh. I ordered eel and it was unique. A little salty for my taste but delicious. My favorite tiramisu was good but not my wow. As expected, it’s a little pricey. Overall, we enjoyed our lunch in a quiet and beautiful garden.

9/10This is a high quality restaurant where we have been previously. I would suggest there were not enough staff (we were pouring our own drinks) and the food (delicious) took an hour to arrive.

10/10On a rainy day in March the Osteria del Ponte del Diavolo was a warm and welcoming joy, from the initial greeting to the last spoonful of the delicious dessert. This restaurant offers supremely good cuisine: some say the best in Venice. We’ve not yet found better.

10/10We have eaten here before. We very much like the restaurant. The service is faultless. The food is absolutely wonderful. I cannot recommend it Il more highly. It is on Torcello, so come to visit Santa Maria Assunta in the morning, have lunch here and visit Burano in the afternoon.

This was such a beautiful place to go for lunch. The food and drink were fabulous and reasonably priced given the quality. The service was excellent and the atmosphere was relaxed. There was even a pheasant strolling in the garden. Very, very highly recommended!

10/10We ate here for a second time in one week, because we enjoyed our first meal so much. The fegato alla Veneziana was superb, as were the scallops with raw porcini. Absolutely charming service. We will return.

10/10Fabulous! One of the very best meals we have had in Venice. This small restaurant is wonderful with great care and attention given to every dish. Service was excellent and friendly. I highly recommend the polpi antipasto.

9/10Lovely relaxing restaurant. The starters were amazing. One of our party found the main rather salty. Overall delightful and the staff were so helpful in moving a table for us out of the sun.
