Its clear they try to separate foreigners from Italians at this restaurant. I didn't get this treatment at any other restaurant in Rome so this was disappointing.

The food was delicious. We arrived on time for our reservation and we were promptly seated. Our server was rather cranky and felt like he preferred to be someplace else. The temperature was very warm to the point of sweating. This did impact our enjoyment of our meal and prevented us from ordering dessert. I would recommend for the food.

I was told it was a great restaurant, I think the food is ok. not that great. I was expecting 5 stars portions are too big. the desert, Gelato is just too hard and all too sweet.

Delicious food, focused on pasta, tartuffe, meat, and seafood in Roman style. Varied dishes and styles of preparation. Choice selection of regional wines. Pleasant, cozy, neighborhood atmosphere. Efficient service. Almost everyone was a tourist staying at a nearby Airbnb or hotel. Overall, a fine, satisfying meal.

The food was below average, the aubergine was undercooked with no taste. The main courses was both tasteless. The guests were very young and had their phones in left hand while eating with their right hands. We haven’t been to a restaurant where nobody was talking to each other- so strange and no good vibes.

It used to be a lively restaurant, but now the priority is to increase the turnover rate, so the food comes out quickly and the next customer is served in about an hour. The service of shaving the truffle in front of you is gone, and the appetizers and main dishes are not very tasty. Still, it is expensive for an osteria.

What a surprise! We spent 17 days in Europe including London, Paris, Florence, and Rome. Osteria Barberini was - by far - the best meal we had. We were a large party so we had a basement table, but soon forgot the lack of ambience when tasted the food. BRAVO!

Food was good and certainly revolved around truffle flavors. If you want truffle flavors certainly the spot for that. The restaurant staff was professional, dare I say snooty. Restaurant was quiet, almost too quiet to where no tables were talking. Wine was easily the best value on the menu.

An elegant, intimate restaurant with small tables. Professional service, delicious dishes, and large portions served quickly. The appetizer was outstanding 👌 sea bass carpaccio with truffles and pink pepper. Prices are appropriate for the quality.

Found this place in Google for its truffle dishes, but didnt spect that was so good. Had to go two times there in my 10 days trip to Italy. Both times The service was great and the food was perfect. A lot of truffle for a really good price. If you like truffle, just go there.

The best Truffle restaurant in Rome. Been before and will go again for sure. Small and petite but the service is second to none and as for the food, excellent and reasonably priced as well. Whatever you do book in advance to ensure you get a table.

The carbonara was delicious . Relaxed and imitate atmosphere. Seen where a couple had them to put a couple birthday candles in a dish with tiramisu. Looked so good we ordered tiramisu for dessert. Yum Yum. It was homemade and so good. Service was spot on . Just a few down from our Hotel Barocco.
