10/10Great service, the steak florentine and roasted potatoes was delicious and easily shared. The house wine was delicious and very affordable. The outside setting was beautiful alongside the river and very comfortable and quiet. Loved it.

7.5/10Busy restaurant. I made a reservation few days earlier but I did not have the option to pick a table outdoor. We eat inside. Food is good, portions are not generous but good quality. Service was fine. Unfortunately we did not receive the 20% discount as booked on The Fork app. Do not count on that.

10/10Cannot fault this restaurant one of our favourites in Florence. Know it well. Suggest you have the Prawns Tempura. In the summer weather has a lovely outdoors looking over the Arno.

10/10Visiting Firenze on holiday with my family. Made reservation online very easily! The location was great right on the Arno! We loved the service, the gentleman who waited on us was very personable and welcoming. The food and wine were exceptional. I got pasta, very good. Others in my family got the T-bone steak. Amazing! The wine by the glass was reasonably price and very good. Overall a very good experience, very pleased. They called taxi for us.

6/10Although the atmosphere is elegant and service is friendly, our dinner here was less than memorable. Asked immediately if we wanted water (and making our request), we had to snag a different waiter 10 minutes later to get a bottle. A similar pattern happened with a final espresso; we ordered, waited, and were told by a different waiter that the machine was broken and no coffee was available. Of the four dishes we ordered, only the grilled steak with roasted potatoes was really good. Disappointing all around…

10/10The Staff was welcoming and prompt with service throughout dinner and always with a smile. Each order was prepared and served quickly and hot (when it was supposed to be so). It’s a quaint setting next to the Arno. It fills up quickly so make you reservation early.

9/10Although a little early for out booking, we were seated and immediately offered water etc. As expected, the food here was superb. Some of our table had the octopus starter - big enough to be shared if you are looking at this. We all had different mains and each was great. Steaks were cooked as requested and the tuna was perfect. This was a treat meal and quite expensive for 4 of us. That said, if you enjoy good food and are looking for a treat, then I can really recommend.

10/10Osteria Belguardo was the restaurant my wife and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary 10years ago the first time we visited Florence. So this booking was made for us celebrate again with our 21 year old daughter. We were served by the fantastic server Alessandro who was knowledgeable, attentive and engaging. we had a hard time choosing our table (we came before the crowds and finally choice the best spot outside with a view of the Arno and Florence’s night lights). He suggested us some choices but did NOT hurry us in our selection but actually gave us the time to choose which my wife and I enjoyed because there was no pressure. We selected the porcini al funghi, rissoto gambierti and bistecca florentine (for 2 people). For drinks we have chianti classico (why not we are in Tuscany) and the house rose (which was superb!! even the other table with an American couple gushed over it)!! Service was relaxed but fast. The porcini mushroom (which was recommended by Alessandro as this was fresh and in season. He also suggested for us to order the bistecca for 2 people instead of 3 if we are ordering our dished so and NOT over order) was served first. It was slightly fried in batter and simply slightly salted. This was fantastic! From the smell of it shen Alessandro served the dish it was already heavenly. Even our 21yo old daughter ‘wow’ on the first bite. The same goes for the shrimp rissoto, you can savour the gorgonzolla cheese. Belguardo chef didnt scrimp on their cheese. It was well balanced and shrimpy as it should be. But the piece de resistance was the bistecca! The dish was served medium rare, cooked perfectly together with our risotto. My wife and daughter, who are meat eaters, were in a joyful high. The meat was tender, cooked perfectly and moist and tasteful even it was only cooked with pepper and salt. Served in a warm big black platter with baked potatoes. We had our fill of the creamy risotto and fleshy bistecca. The chinati classico and the Belguardo rose perfectly matched the meal. It is an understatement that we thoroughly the enjoyed first dinner on our first night in Firenze. The food was perfect, the service impeccable and the place was really romantic, relaxed and enjoyable. And we got a sconto (discount) on the food because we booked via Fork!!!..Fantastico Belguardo! Grazie mille, a presto!

9.5/10Highly recommend this to anyone visiting the Florence area of Italy. My wife and I, along with my parents all had different meals equally as good and very flavorful. Wait staff was very attentive and extremely nice. Great selection of wine and for those that love a steak this is the place. Also very clean and comfortable bathrooms. DO NOT OVERLOOK THIS PLACE!!!

10/10Very impressed with this place! Just note any reservation made online will be indoor seating. If you want outdoor seating You must call restaurant to request it. 5 stars for Ambiance, food quality and service… everything was wonderful. This was our 3rd and final night in Florence and we had the best meal here. Wished we had found it sooner. Will definitely come back when we’re in Florence again.

6.5/10This was a really mixed bag. The restaurant and the food were great. They seemed quite surprised when I came in at 9 saying I had a reservation I’d booked through The Fork. We had a very good meal. They had only two gluten free desserts (one of them being pineapple), but the waiter came back and told me they were out of the one I ordered. I declined dessert after that. Then after they served the other people at our table dessert they started blasting American 80’s music which gave us the signal that they wanted us to leave. It was very loud. We were quite polite the entire time and went out of our way to be kind. Then, just after I paid the bill, we got up from the table and the music switched from loud American pop to Italian music—like the second we got up from the table to leave. The food was wonderful, but they clearly don’t check the reservations that come in from The Fork and I don’t think they wanted us there at all. It’s too bad because the food was quite special. If you’re an Italian, go for it, but don’t book through this app if you’re booking for the same night. If you’re an American, I don’t think they want you there at all, regardless of how polite you try to be.

9.5/10A beautiful spot overlooking the river. We were greeted warmly and offered a seat on their lovely patio or inside. Being 36C we opted for dining in. The decor is lovely particularly the map themed wallpaper. The open kitchen concept was nice to see as well. Our appetizers were very good. We had a calamari fritti, an avocado salad and I opted for the prosciutto crudo with chicken liver and crostini which was excellent. We all enjoyed our main dishes. Two had the beef rib steak and both enjoyed immensely. One had the breaded veal cutlet which was very good and my daughter had the tuna. The tuna typically comes rare but my daughter asked for it a bit more well done. I personally would eat it while it’s still swimming but she’s 17 and wanted it cooked more. She really enjoyed it other than the medium center portions which I quickly devoured. I had the beef cheeks which were excellent. The portions were very large and although we admired other tables and their desserts, there was no way we could eat any more. (The ties misu looked exceptional). I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
