A wonderful meal at the small Osteria. The chef and waiter are a wife and hisband team that produce a meal with gracious service. We had the risotto and a tenderloin and both were outstanding. Well worth the visit.

Second time we visited Walter and his wife who is the chef in the kitchen. My wife choose the same dishes (and the Tiramissu for desert) as it was so good. For the main I opted for the Tenderloin this time. We finished with a nice espresso and limoncello!

A long overdue review. Discovered this Osteria by chance and what a pleasant surprise it was. We shared the starter; Carpaccio di zucchini which was to die for. My main was the mushroom Risotto and my wife had the Ravioli, both equally yummy accompanied with a nice glass of Pinot Grigio. Worth a re-visit, so we did ;-)

Food was excellent! Flavors were outstanding. The dining room is quite small and you do feel a little bit of pressure not to extend your time at your table as folks with reservations are being turned away temporarily if tables turn over in any longer than an hour.

we enjoyed this small and quaint place the best in Florence. we ate early dinner at 4pm when they open. it has less people and that's how we like it. ate pasta with duck - very good. another dish we ordered was the tenderloin dish with sauce. it was the best steak we ate in Italy. would go back next time we're in Florence.

This is a great little restaurant. Make sure you make a reservation because it is quite small. The food was excellent. The service by Walter was excellent. He made us feel welcome and right at home. A small wine list but big enough for good choices.

The quality of the food, paired with the quiet traditional ambiance made our evening unforgettable. Would definitely return!

We had a wonderful experience at Osteria Casio e Vino All’antico Arborio. Don’t let the name fool you. It was way more than cheese and wine. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. The appetizer will feed 2-4 people and the pasta was the perfect size. Walter, the owner and waiter, was a delight and speaks excellent English. The space was cosy and comfortable.

Wonderful experience. The service, the food, the atmosphere. Everything was perfect. The food we ordered was divine. The mixed cheese board with acacia honey. We were surprised how well the different cheeses paired with the honey. Pici with white meat sauce was one of the best things I've ever eaten. It was so creamy and flavorful. The ravioli and braised duck were both excellent. The duck was fork tender, melt in your mouth. Absolutely fantastic experience!

Beautiful little spot off the main road. Walter was an amazing server. Overhearing another conversation he was having, found out his wife was the chef cooking up AMAZING dishes. We had the Cacio e Pepe and Spinach and Ricotta Ravioli is sage sauce and it was phenomenal. Tip for newcomers, dont go crazy on aperitivos and save room for this amazing spot. 10/10 would eat again.

One of our best meals in Florence! Walter was a gem - so attentive and thoughtful in the service he provided on our first night in Florence. We found out that Walter's wife was the chef and they are a husband/wife run restaurant. The duck and risotto were some of the best I've ever had and the Limoncello Spritz's were amazing. I will make this my first stop the next time I am back in Florence! Please support this wonderful family.

Wonderful, intimate restaurant with a hand full of tables the husband Walter waits tables and the wife does the cooking. Nice menu options featuring of course Tuscan dishes, all well prepared. We had a number of dishes and enjoyed them all. Small put complementary wine selections. Well worth a visit but reservation’s are essential.

Great service, appetizers aren’t their thing, very few options and not good. Their strength is the pasta! The one with yellow cherry tomatoes and the one with duck meat are delicious!!!
Osteria Cacio e Vino All'antico BorgoGrazie Sara.

Obviously the florentine steak was delicious and cooked to perfection. One thing that bothered us was how they showed everyone around us their steak before cooking it but not for us so we missed out on that experience. The pasta was mediocre which was very disappointing.

Great food! Wonderful service! Walter was exceptionally helpful in our choices of foods and wine! We enjoyed it so much we returned again the next evening!
