10/10Last-minute booking at Osteria Circo via The Fork app. An amazing place in all respects. It was packed and yet service was fast, professional, and courteous. The osteria is built into ancient ruins so ambience is impressive even by Rome standards. Excellent food and wine. A place to go back to over and over again.

7.5/10The place was really authentic, food traditional and rustic, for in Rome was great. Service a little slow but maybe due to large party of Americans that were in.

2/10Service was non-existent. We waited for 10min, seated at a table, without anyone taking any drinks orders, and not even giving us menus. And no one making eye contact as they walked past us, to even call someone for service.

10/10Lovely restaurant just a short walk from our hotel. I booked before we left the uk as the reviews were all good and we weren’t disappointed the food was delicious and service was very good, it became very busy after 8:30pm so best to book in advance, lots of locals eating there which is a good sign!

10/10Osteria Circo is located right across the Circo Massimo. It's interior is beautifully rustic. The menu options are great, and the food quality to price ratio is very good. Overall, we had a wonderful experience.

10/10We first noticed the restaurant on our walk around to the Colliseum - thinking it looked really nice. We made a reservation, not expecting much since it is so close to all the tourist attractions. We were stunned at how good the food and service and wine was (I let them pick the wine). We shared a few plates and desert, everything was perfect. We would have stayed longer, but had to catch a flight home. By 9pm the line of people waiting for a table was very long....we are obviously not the only ones who enjoy this gem.

10/10This restaurant was right around the corner from our hotel. We were drawn to the menu item "grandma's meatballs." They didn't disappoint. The service was excellent and the food was even better! The menu is small but everything tasted homemade. They take care to make the meal special.

10/10We’ve been to this place four times so far. The food is always exquisite. The starters in particular… service is friendly; however, this restaurant doesn’t pander to tourists. Enjoy truly Roman food in a lovely setting. Can’t wait to return soon again.

10/10It's a restaurant where you fall in love with kindness first, and you fall in love with delicious food second. We weren't that hungry, so we ate white raagu pasta, rip eye steak, and circo special salad for two, but the amount was considerable. The taste also experienced a moderate liver and a very excellent savory taste. I was also impressed by the fact that they considered the situation of tourists well from ordering menus to calculating procedures. Thank you.

8.5/10Probably the best meal I ate in Rome. The starter with burrata and anchovies was to die for - I will be dreaming about it for years to come! The service was a little slow but the staff were very patient and did not rush me out as I've often experienced when eating alone

7.5/10The waiter recommended the cacio e pepe pasta which was really good. I'm glad we went with his recommendation. The service was a little slow but that was also probably because they saw us talking a lot and didn't want to interrupt. Nice, comfortable ambiance.

10/10Our first night in Rome and went for dinner with our 5 yo and 21 mo. We ordered cacio e pepe, carbonara, suppli, grilled veggies and tomato pasta for the lil ones. All were amazingly good and exceeded our expectations. Additionally, the server and busboy (?) were so kind! Our 21 mo wouldn’t stop fussing and crying. I really didn’t get to enjoy my pasta and we were thinking of leaving when the bus boy got some biscottis for our son and it worked like magic! he started eating those and was quiet within seconds! the server also brought us limoncello and another drink ( full bottles) for free for us to enjoy. thanks to them our almost “worst night ever” turned into one of the best family memories!!

9/10Due to the failure to communicate with the staff, we(two people) ate two steaks and one pasta, but it was delicious, so we ate it all. The steak was good, but the white lagoo pasta was really good. It was the most delicious pasta that I ate when I traveled to Italy. The wine was cheap but delicious. If I come to Rome again, I want to go here again.

10/10Wonderful authentic Italian restaurant in a beautiful location by the coliseum. Staff were very attentive and the food was to die for! Homemade lemon cello was a lovely touch as an aperitif. Would definitely recommend!

9.5/10First impression was of another touristy restaurant, but the food was just amazing - from artichokes and cod croquettes to a’matriciana and fresh bucatini, beef cheeks and fettuccini faraona with tartuffo (Guinea fowl). Don’t miss their take on the sicilian cannoli. Highly recommended!
