Best food in Venice, hands down! I went twice it was so good and there were so many other things on the menu I wanted to try. What is also great is that it is not a tourist trap. It is authentic Venetian cuisine and culture. It is in the center of the city but also off the beaten path. Run do not walk when in Venice to Osteria de Bubi.

In order of meal- oysters excellent, scallops good, best fettuccini with truffle ever had, and lobster carbonara also excellent. Pinot Grigio Specogna was a perfect accompaniment. Would dine here again.

We really enjoyed the ambiance at Osteria da Bubi and the food was really good. I just thought the price for the scallop risotto for 2 was a little steep. 88 euros for two plates where each plate has only 2 scallops. That being said we would return.

We ordered the white truffle and Parmesan fettuccine and sliced beef tagliata for dinner, and both were excellent. Our bottle of Treminto Pinot Noir was the perfect accompaniment to the meal. Service was friendly and attentive. On the way out the door, the bartender offered us delicious iced limoncello. Highly recommend!

Osteria da Bubi was recommended by a chef I know who stoged in Venice. The restaurant is tucked away and we wouldn’t have found it otherwise. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, and servers were welcoming. The food was the best we’ve had in Venice. We enjoyed the artichoke with codfish starter, lobster carbonara, fettuccine with truffles, tiramisu and chocolate mousse. If we ever come back to Venice we would definitely come back.
