The food was excellent, the cocktails delicious and the service very good. Great value for money.

Good appetisers, especially the grilled scallops. Both pastas, cacio e pepe di mare and spaghetto verde di mare, were disappointing, as there was little seafood in them. Variable service, some of the staff less attentive than others. Nice atmosphere, but overall overpriced and disappointing.

Signature dish (fettuccine) was very good on previous occasions but terrible this time for very high price. Only small pieces of not fresh truffles with no taste of cheese or salt only too much butter.

Excellent friendly service with great recommendations. Fantastic food with great selection of venetian classics and wine. Would highly recommend!

The restaurant is epic! We were a group of 8 people, so not easy to manage - but the service was excellent, and the food was incredible. Every single dish was wow so we kept adding additional dishes a few times. They were so good.

Our second visit to Osteria da Bubi was as memorable as our previous one at Christmas. Pasta with razor clams was excellent as were the secondi of Tuna tataki and the mixed grill of scallops, langoustines and shrimp. Desserts were both superb too. Good wine list and reasonable prices. We come to Venice five times each year and Osteria da Bubi is definitely on our preferred list.

A great restaurant, in a quiet lane away from the crowds. We had a fabulous meal and wine both were good value. Attentive & friendly staff.

It was great that the restaurant was so accommodating and agreed to prepare a simpler pasta for the children than what was on the menu — they made it exactly as we asked. That was wonderful! The squid ink pasta is a 10 out of 10 — absolutely delicious. Friendly staff and fast service. Thank you!

This was the best restaurant that we ate at during our 2 night stay in Venice. Amazing food, particularly the beef cheek and Tiramisu. The sea bass was fresh and flavoursome. Attentive, friendly waiters. Would definitely return to this restaurant if visiting Venice again.

Started with a bit of low expectations but after the food came they went through the roof! Absolutely amazing and delicious food,from wine to starters, main and dessert. There are no words to describe how amazing the taste of the food was. Would recommend, then out of ten!

This restaurant is a hidden gem. Hidden away from the mainstream tourist flow, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food was brilliant and the staff fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and highly recommend.

Really wonderful osteria and exactly what my husband and I were wishing for tonight. Great exposed brick and wooden plank ceilings, rustic but elegant at the same time. Lively but quiet at the same time. Excellent and attentive service with a sense of humour, last but not least great quality dishes from starter to dessert. Next time we come to Venice we will be back!

Charming restaurant with excellent service. Oven roasted turbot with vegetables was fresh and excellent. Fritto misto to start was perfect. Small wine list.

Our waiter Marco was amazing! We had a group of 17 and the entire staff was awesome and the meals were impeccable.

The service was phenomenal! Every staff was more than courteous, they were engaging and helpful and my guests were delighted. On top of that, the food was delicious. Will definitely be coming here again!

We booked from the UK for a trip we planned for our wedding anniversary. The day before we visited the restaurant to check where it was. A lovely lady showed us inside and let us choose a table we preferred. On the night, the staff were all lovely and the food was delicious. It did not disapoint. Would highly recommend.

Marzia made our visit memorable with her outstanding service. She was very attentive, friendly and went above and beyond to make evening special. All of the staff were friendly and had great character. The menu was creative and the food was cooked and presented extremely well. The black Angus carpaccio was very tasty and the caprese was equally good. Our only criticism would be that the mixed seafood grill selection was not the best value for the cost. Overall, we had a great evening and would return.

Great food and wine, very friendly staff who made excellent recommendations and the tiramisu was amazing. We returned the next night.

Really neat setting, very rustic and the food is excellent, as is the service. Fettuccine da Bubi with black truffle is AMAZING. Homemade Gelato is outstanding for desert! Be sure and make a reservation, it gets busy during prime dining hours.

Was perfect. Hard to find a non-touristy restaurant in Venice, but we felt like we found one. Service was wonderful as was the food. Even the entrance..down a narrow, quiet walk, made it feel more "local" than most others. Highly recommend.

Service was top notch. The food was delectable. If we are back in Venice we will come back 100%! There are many restaurants in Venice but only a few are an experience. This met all our expectations.

Everything was delicious. The grilled octopus and the Fettuccine Bubi with truffles were highlights. Nice, exposed brick interior but not too loud.
