It was great that the restaurant was so accommodating and agreed to prepare a simpler pasta for the children than what was on the menu — they made it exactly as we asked. That was wonderful! The squid ink pasta is a 10 out of 10 — absolutely delicious. Friendly staff and fast service. Thank you!

This was the best restaurant that we ate at during our 2 night stay in Venice. Amazing food, particularly the beef cheek and Tiramisu. The sea bass was fresh and flavoursome. Attentive, friendly waiters. Would definitely return to this restaurant if visiting Venice again.

Started with a bit of low expectations but after the food came they went through the roof! Absolutely amazing and delicious food,from wine to starters, main and dessert. There are no words to describe how amazing the taste of the food was. Would recommend, then out of ten!

This restaurant is a hidden gem. Hidden away from the mainstream tourist flow, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food was brilliant and the staff fantastic. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and highly recommend.

Really wonderful osteria and exactly what my husband and I were wishing for tonight. Great exposed brick and wooden plank ceilings, rustic but elegant at the same time. Lively but quiet at the same time. Excellent and attentive service with a sense of humour, last but not least great quality dishes from starter to dessert. Next time we come to Venice we will be back!

We booked from the UK for a trip we planned for our wedding anniversary. The day before we visited the restaurant to check where it was. A lovely lady showed us inside and let us choose a table we preferred. On the night, the staff were all lovely and the food was delicious. It did not disapoint. Would highly recommend.

Marzia made our visit memorable with her outstanding service. She was very attentive, friendly and went above and beyond to make evening special. All of the staff were friendly and had great character. The menu was creative and the food was cooked and presented extremely well. The black Angus carpaccio was very tasty and the caprese was equally good. Our only criticism would be that the mixed seafood grill selection was not the best value for the cost. Overall, we had a great evening and would return.

Really neat setting, very rustic and the food is excellent, as is the service. Fettuccine da Bubi with black truffle is AMAZING. Homemade Gelato is outstanding for desert! Be sure and make a reservation, it gets busy during prime dining hours.

Was perfect. Hard to find a non-touristy restaurant in Venice, but we felt like we found one. Service was wonderful as was the food. Even the entrance..down a narrow, quiet walk, made it feel more "local" than most others. Highly recommend.

Best food in Venice, hands down! I went twice it was so good and there were so many other things on the menu I wanted to try. What is also great is that it is not a tourist trap. It is authentic Venetian cuisine and culture. It is in the center of the city but also off the beaten path. Run do not walk when in Venice to Osteria de Bubi.

In order of meal- oysters excellent, scallops good, best fettuccini with truffle ever had, and lobster carbonara also excellent. Pinot Grigio Specogna was a perfect accompaniment. Would dine here again.
