+12We had an AMAZING multi-course dining experience at Osteria James Joyce. The presentation, flavors and atmosphere were simply stellar. Each dish, better than the last. The Oyster Tempura appetizer was one of the best things I have ever eaten. The wine, fantastic. The tiramisu, house made and so delicate...same for the white chocolate mousse! The only thing better than the food, was the staff! So welcoming and warm!!

We had a wonderful dinner at Osteria da James Joyce. Each dish was very well prepared, imaginative, and delicious. The service was also excellent including attention from the owner himself. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely night. Menu was full of surprises, lovely fusion touches, and fresh from the sea flavours. But as importantly it was fun and the staff members were wonderful hosts. Good wine choice too!

Excellent food, great service. Eating abroad for an Italian could be challenging, but in this restaurant we found the flavor and light cuisine we are used to

This restaurant could be either a tourist-trap or a place, which aimed to live up to the name of James Joyce. Their menu is very broad - and we found plates, which really fit into our situation. And the waiter helped us fill out the blanks to secure a fantastic meal tasting local foods and wine.

The Osteria da James Joyce is a truly beautiful space to celebrate any occasion. Owners Philipo and Christiano are wonderful hosts who made our group feel welcome like family. The food was delicious, the service excellent and the entire experience was the perfect way to welcome our guests to Trieste the evening before our wedding. We will definitely be back when we return to Trieste later this year.

It was our second visit to Osteria James Joice. Kristian was discreet and efficient. Everything came in the same time for all six of us. Food was delicious and the presentation was very elegant. Atmosphere is relaxed and comfortable in spite of fancy surroundings . My fool recommendations! Kalina

We had a very nice birthday celebration dinner as family with a very friendly and excellent service, including a sparkling aperitivo on the house a birthday welcome. The food was good, especially antipasti and starters. The tagliata meat could have been is better quality in taste and texture. Deserts were good but a little rich. Wine suggestion as well as digestive were excellent.
