4/10The service is not good, they are rude and do not respect the clients

The manager just said to you that your reservation was for 8:30 p.m. and that therefore you cannot expect to arrive at the time you wants. Reservations are made specifically to provide a better service, which is what we want to provide!

10/10A wonderful kitchen with unusual to find items like pigeon and Guinea fowl. As well as more usual items. This place each item is prepared with perfection.

6.5/10Four years on from our first visit we went back because we’d enjoyed it so much. The same charm and setting was there but the food didn’t quite match up to expectations. Perhaps we ordered badly but one main was one of the specials so one might expect better. The tiramisu was also very disappointing.

7/10I knew this restaurant before Bagno Vignoni became a tourist destination, and it was a treat. Alas now it feels aimed at this itinerant market - and has little left-of the genuine Osteria atmosphere it once had. The wine list is absurdly long - and I doubt we will go again, which is a shame as we are all locals and are always looking for the ever rarer ‘real thing’.

10/10A group of nine of us had dinner here to celebrate a wedding. They gave us a private room with a large table. Service was the best we’ve had yet in Italy. Very attentive waiters who spoke English. Our head waitress had a great personality. The food was outstanding.

10/10We had a wonderful dinner in Bagno Vignoni to celebrate my boyfriend 30 Bday. The quality of the food and the service was excellent. They are taking care of every single detail and request. The service and the food make the difference. Wonderful experience. We hope to go back.

9/10We had a lovely dinner at Osteria de Leoni. The pici pasta and the white truffle pasta were excellent. As well as the pistachio dessert which was one of the best desserts we've had since we arrived in Italy several days ago. However, the lamb chops were tough and not what we expected from a restaurant like this. Service was fantastic.

5/10Ok, but not good. Food is decent, not great. You are treated like a tourist (granted we are tourists but still). They have good wines at affordable prices, but that you can find elsewhere as well in Tuscany. Feels a lot like a tourist trap. I would not recommend.

8.5/10Very friendly welcome and service. It was very efficient despite being busy on Easter Saturday night. The food and wine were generally excellent and good value. Lovely risotto, chicken liver pate and then wine-braised pork cheeks. However, the szformatino (vegetable tart) was seriously under-cooked and runny with more or less raw egg, despite a second attempt being made by the chef.

6.5/10Lovely staff in this underwhelming and austere venue. The food was decent but below expectations based on other reviews. Six course tasting menu was disappointing with 3 cold dishes and two pastas. The one hot dish that wasn’t pasta was done well but the portions too large to have enjoyed it by the 5th course. It’s weird to have 2 consecutive pastas. Felt like this menu didn’t showcase the hyped talent of the chef.

8/10We were sitting directly below the speaker and the music was not really my tatste. Therefore I rated the place "Noisy". The preparation of my main course "coniglio" was not as I expected it. But I did not ask in advance and nothing was wrong. Everything else was good but not very good.

9.5/10The restaurant was excellent and the ladies waitresses were excellent. We were only able to get a place thanks to Fork. We had arrived without having booked and a male waiter without even checking said to us there was no availability because we hadn't booked. It was obvious there were unoccupied places. We booked on Fork for 20 mns latter and yes there was an availability ! The lady in charge of the personnel was very welcoming as well as the lady doing the service. The male waiter only came for the coffee at the end and even failed to deliver it poor chap. The pasta were excellent, the location great and we had an excellent wine.

10/10Had a wonderful meal. The food was some of the best we had on our trip it IT.-Which included a few michiline stops. The wine list is serviceable. With a deeper wine list this spot could really go places. Highly recommend.

7/10Friendly service, but not quite as competent as the level of the restaurant would require: an older olive oil is not better than a younger! and you don't serve the primi when the others are eating antipasto. My cardi dish was too salti and my beet soup not savoury enough, but my friends loved their trippa allo zafferano and their tagliolini al tartufo marzuolo. And the cheesecake and cantucci were a delight!

8.5/10The food was very good. The menu was a bit difficult to understand if you do not speak italian though. Good was a little less conplex than othet places we have been. Beautiful outdoor seating area.

10/10Lovely Tuscan food, beautifully cooked and served by very helpful staff in their shady garden. It was very quiet but then the whole village was quiet today, very peaceful. We would definitely go again.

10/10The waitress remembered my husband from our dinner there, 7 years ago. We felt as we did the first time as if we had suddenly and unexpectedly, come home... This is an amazing restaurant, in an amazing place..indescribably beautiful! We have come a long way to be here and I hope we get to make this trip again. Susan deLone Kennedy
