The food at this restaurant is excellent, but several factors detracted from the overall experience. The charming atmosphere, with Christmas lights in the old farmhouse, is lovely, and the staff is courteous. However, the pricing feels high for the area. We were seated next to a fireplace, and despite asking to move, the staff was hesitant and ultimately didn’t accommodate us. This table is likely an unlucky spot and should be reserved only when fully booked. Additionally, the table was unstable and kept rocking throughout the meal—given the prices, the quick fix with cardboard to stabilize its not nice to see, taken more than 1 try to fix- detracting from the experience. The garden-style metal chairs with shifting cushions were uncomfortable, causing back pain by the end of the meal. While the food is outstanding, these issues with comfort, service, and table setup didn’t match the quality of the cuisine or the price point- the small details make the biggest difference.

Cozy and romantic historical house on the naviglio river. Cotoletta alla Milanese is HUGE and delicious!

Nice small restaurant, feels like home. Nice decoration and looks like it is a historic building. Very good service and great food quality A bit pricey, but totally worth the visit.
