The Waitor starts with telling me and my 19 year old daughter, that a glas of prosecco is a complimentery, which is very nice of Them. However I was the only one getting a glass. I felt a little guilty about asking for another glass, because it was just a nice gesture. But when we ordered two glasses of Wine with the food, I thought it was really weird that the waitor didnt mention that they should have given her a glass also. Also, people at the other tables were served coffee “on the house” and we didnt.. And we were so nice to everyone there. Anyway, its just a minor detail, but they should Think about I some other time. Otherwise the view was amazing and the food was good.

The setting of this restaurant is stunning and feels like a secret patio where you have the most amazing view of Florence’s skyline! The ambience, service and food equally matched the setting! It was a very memorable dinner experience!

Outstanding. If the many rooftop dining experiences round the world this is by far the most bijoux, personal and rewarding. Fourntables, perfect views, wonderful food and service. Thank you!

The service was very attentive, friendly, and courteous. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. The view over Florence was simply fantastic – an all-round successful evening. We'd love to come back.

The service and the view were absolutely phenomenal! You couldn't ask for a better view in Florence to eat! The food was good, but nothing in particular stood out. I would definitely return though for the impeccable service and the stunning view of the city!

The dinner and cocktail were above average. But the reason we went was for the view. There was no view. The rooftop area was closed and we were seated in a small yellow room with loud music from the 70’s, Very grim.

The view from the upper deck looking out towards the Duomo and Piazza Della Signoria made for a very memorable dinner. The food was good and service was very good.

I cannot fault the evening at Scaletta from beginning to end the service was just at the right level and the food was exquisite the massive added bonus was that he stunning views over the Florence skyline to make the evening perfect

Service was first class as well as the food. Perfect location, luckily seated on the roof terrace providing the perfect place to enjoy a lovely meal served by an excellent team. Treat yourself....

Strange vibe- tourist trap-like. Artificial turf- and not the quality kind of turf -as flooring. It’s like they rolled out a restaurant on an outdoor balcony and the fact that they’re serving food is an afterthought.

I proposed to my partner this evening in the most incredible setting. The views are perfect (and I don’t say that lightly); the service was incredible, the food was sensational. This whole evening was an absolute dream and I couldn’t be happier with everything this restaurant provided. Thank you so much to the staff for a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you.

I made a reservation for three for my wife's birthday which included our 2-year old bouncy boy. I had seen online that the place was great and had a pretty 360° of Florence and had very good reviews. My wife says the place was 10 out of 5. What else can I say? Just thank the stafft who waited for us even if we were running a bit late. And thank our waitress Cadie for her kindness.

Our reservation was for 830pm and there were Bees everywhere...yes, BEES!!! Restaurant should have something place to prevent bees in the rooftop area. It was very annoying having to keep swatting away bees from us while sitting there and we not the only table annoyed. I am allergic to bee stings!!! Bees finally went away as sun went down almost an hour later. Won't be going backrecommending this place. Food was just ok and service not great. For prices charged didn't except such poor overall service.

The food and service were outstanding and the view was amazing! Pitti Palace/Boboli Gardens on one side and Florence skyline on the other. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wines.

The rooftop terrace is spectacular every time, the service is spectacular and the group that was eating all started speaking with one another, which was nice. The food was fantastic and they were able to accommodate my allergies.

I would recommend going before sunset so you can get a little better visibility, however, the view is really beautiful at night, too. The wait staff was great, so nice and very attentive. The food was good too, we would recommend the bread soup! Wine selection was great and the wait staff had great recommendations.

DO NOT BOOK IT FOR THE VIEW. The rooftop area with the amazing view you see only seats 4 tables of two tightly. If you want that area better book it for when they open and for a party or two. We were seated in the “rooftop” area that faced a completely different hillside. Our party and everyone arriving afterwards were sorely confused and disappointed by our view.

Smallish, a little hard to find, a little expensive. The view is gorgeous. The staff are informally gracious, and the food is inventive, prepared with care, and delicious.

In a pleasant location, particularly the upper terrace, however, the romantic and otherwise quiet ambiance was overshadowed by the loud, thumping music coming from the bar. What a pity. Food and service were average.

An absolutely amazing view, the best ever we have seen in Italy. Attentive staff and amazing food, we would highly recommend this restaurant.

This little restaurant was a fantastic find. The views are fantastic and romantic. Served a glass of sparkling wine to start a great dinner. Food quality was excellent, not rushed in a relaxing atmosphere. When time came to pay the bill instead of paying at the table we were asked to pay downstairs at the bar.

Service super slow. Food arrived cold , waiting time over 1.5 h for the main course. Ambience and view marvellous.

Disappointed we were not seated at the very top as that’s what I booked but the Terrace was still lovely. Really nice staff & the food was SUPERB.

The music was too loud, too fast and too American. The floor was astro turf. The ambience was sad. Epic fail.
