We read other reviews before deciding to come here for dinner. We decided on what to order and the appetizers were quite tasty. As main course I decided on a Carbonara, which I explicitly asked was supposed to be original and not a cream pasta. We ordered the house wine, which smelled and tasted like vinegar and cheese. The main courses finally came around and the carbonara was absolutely horrendous. Besides that, 3 of our 4 main courses were absolutely subpar. After confronting the server, we were met with quite an attitude as I requested a substitutionary dish. After our disappointing dinner we wanted to pay and realised, that both the carbonara as well as the substitutionary dish were charged on our tab. During our whole Sicily trip, dinner at this establishment was by far the most disappointing. You can find better, cheaper Sicilian cuisine almost anywhere else. This is a tourist trap, avoid it by any means.

Salve signor Kindel, ci dispiace per l'esperienza negativa, se la carbocrema non è stata di suo gradimento poteva suggerirci gli ingredienti che più le piacevano, sono sicuro che in qualche modo l'avremmo accontentata. Anche se alla fine quando abbiamo offerto il limoncello a lei e a tutti i suoi amici sembravate molto felici, comunque sia spero che la prossima volta le faremo cambiare idea sul nostro conto a presto😉

I think they overpriced the drinks in order to cover the 50% .

Authentic Sicilian cuisine in a favourite hot spot. Excellent staff and service. I would return.

Everything was pretty good but there were some odd things. The person who ordered the stuffed squid was not so impressed with it and the Margherita pizza was burnt. My sea bream was quite good and the person who ordered the pork ragout also enjoyed it. The appetizer was decent though a bit small. A liter of house wine only costs €10 and the Sicilian cassata was ok but VERY sweet for an Italian dessert. The service is kind of meh but not blatantly rude. Not excellent but no bad 8/10.

We loved this place. The waiters were very nice and attentive, the food was delicious (May be just a bit smaller portions that we expected), enjoyable atmosphere and nice cannoli! Recommended!

I use this restaurant to take my client and/or for myself and my family. It’s a superb restaurant, fantastic food at affordable price. The staff is professional and very funny. In particular a guy called Mohamed, helpful, professional and funny. Highly recommend to others, this is the best restaurant in the area no doubt. A big thanks to the owner Antonio, great and very honest man. Thank you fulvio

The quality of food was excellent. The owner was very nice and the service superb. Charming location in the Vucciria, one of the renowned open air markets.
