It’s expensive and posh but inside it’s more like cheap bar - I do not recommend this place

Ammar is very nice and super professional. Especially, It was good to serve and explain wine when we ordered. We experienced good feeling before getting food and wine. Also, food, wine, staff and vibe, everting was perfect. They gave us good memory for our honeymoon. 정말최고의식당 이태리에서 먹은 식사중 가장 맛있었음 너무친절함. 또올거임 비프웰링턴 정말 기가막힘

Everything about this meal was superb. The food was excellent, we had rib-eye and fillet steaks which were delicious. And with a fantastic view of the Ponte Vecchio, it couldn’t be better. Oh. yes- a lovely Negroni.

My family and I had a wonderfully memorable dinner at Osteria Golden View on our first night in Florence. The setting on the Arno River was serene, the ambience inside of the restaurant was lovely, with upbeat bossanova music in the background, clean/sleek decor, and attentive staff who nevertheless didn’t hover. The food was excellent. (We had Beef Wellington, Ribeye steaks, and artichoke risotto.) It was sublime to be there as the sun was setting, enjoying delicious food, observing the action on the Ponte Veccio from a distance. Highly recommend!

Really great cocktails Our meal was wonderful. We had spaghetti and lobster and the scallops . They were both so good ! Also beautiful desserts . Everything was freshly made. The waiter may have been having a bad day but the staff overall were very friendly and nice. We loved our meal and will go back again.

Pretty good. We were two and overall good except they got the wrong order for one dish. This was rectified though.

After being seated and waiting over half an hour, we had to flag down the host to get someone to take our order. At that point, we really just wanted drinks and appetizers, but he insisted on taking the full order. Food and drink was then rushed as everything was served all at once. I certainly paid attention to what was happening at other tables, and we seemed to be the only table receiving such service. While I can't say for sure, this does not seem to be an LGBTQ+ friendly business and that is the only reason I can presume we received such inappropriate service. In general the food was fine - nothing extraordinary, nothing terrible. I can' speak to the views or ambience as we were seating behind large columns in the back of the restaurant. With so many other options in Florence, I would skip this one.

Excellent overall, especially for the price. We had steak elsewhere, for about 2X more for the meat. It was better there (more tender) but the flavor was just as good here, and the overall experience was comparable.

Servers so professional and inviting. Eggplant Parmesan was one of best ever eaten.

This was a last-minute pick for us. It is situated right on the Arno River. Beautiful views if you are lucky enough to get a window seat (we did). The food and service were very good as well.

We did the dinner for 2, steak was amazing, View was great sitting by the river, windows were large and easy to view. Staff were very polite, cautiously checking everything we needed but never in the way or surprising us. Doors opened at 6, we we're a few minutes early, and they seated us right away. Thanks all! Was great! Definitely be back when on Florence next.

Nice place, great view, excellent food, attentive service. Our waiter Alfredo was new there, but everything he did was perfect, friendly and professional.

The food was tasty. Amberjack was perfectly cooked and flavored. The seafood risotto was similarly wonderful, with ample tender shellfish. Friendly waitstaff. Great view. First rate.

The Golden View has always been a favorite of mine in Florence. You can imagine my distress when I read about its closing! I had wanted to eat there for my birthday dinner, but, alas, I found out of the closing. On the next Saturday, I was walking around and happened by the Golden View, it had reopened! Perfect!
