8.5/10We were welcomed by a lovely staff member and seated promptly. The blues music was much appreciated. The food quality was good and we enjoyed our meal. We would recommend if you are in the area.

10/10+1We stopped here unexpectedly on our way to Cabreo in 9/2019. 3 gentlemen from Florence bought this fantastic restaurant in 8/2019. One was a chef, one a general manager and the other a bartender. This was the most memorable restaurant we ate at our entire 2 week vacation throughout Italy for food, service and atmosphere. Fast forward to 2022, as we planned our second trip to Tuscany with our 70 year old parents. We planned our entire 2 week vacation from Texas around the availability to eat here and stay at Cabreo’s new sister property Pietra. We were so pleased to see not only had they survived Covid, but were thriving. We made reservations for 9/2023 and had a fantastic meal! We were waited on one of the owners who is an expert on wine. One of his partner’s, the chef, was also there and we loved seeing the transformation from start up to full blown beautiful dining experience. Come eat here, it will be a location that you will always remember, cherish and return too when you have the opportunity.

6.5/10We booked here because reviewer scores were so high. Scores definitely over rated the food and ambiance. We personally found everything quite average (although a few creative items on the rather limited menu). Inflated (very high) prices were consistent with "fine dining" . However, neither the ambiance, menu nor presentation met "fine dining" standards. lemon sorbet appeared to be bought from a local co-op, not "home" made. The summer ambiance is country simple and hot, indoors. The exceptional part of this experience was the lovely waitress.

10/10If you are ever in Imprunetta, Italy ( outside of Florence) please stop by and visit Aaron at Osteria Il Ciliegiolo! We were a table of 14, and when my soon-to-be father in law fell ill, the owner, Aaron put him in a car, and drove him back to our villa— despite the fact that the restaurant was packed! When I thanked him, he said “I would hope someone would do the same for me, or my own father.” ❤️ We ALL need to be more like Aaron! Best of all— the food was AMAZING!!!

9.5/10Coming in the region for work for 17 years it’s one of the best places I have been to. The food is really excellent Very well priced. Generous I never miss a chance to go when between Florence and Rome. I often drive 120km to come. And worth it. Highly recommend. It’s in the Chianti region

5/10All dishes came out fine except for the pasta which is slightly uncooked. Yes it was not al dente. Ordered a 2nd glass of wine but never came. Overall service is okay.
