Friendly and helpful staff. Shot of local Limoncello when we were leaving was an added bonus to a great meal. Recommended wine at E28 was also great. Only problem is they were closed the next night when we wanted to return.

Service was excellent, and fast. Food was great, was shared caprese bufola with tomato. Each had a mixed salad with oil and Balsamic, the standard dressing in Itlay. I had the black pork chop, it was probably the best chop I've ever had. My son got a steak with shaved parmesan, he said it was very good. I also had Icnusa beer, from Sardinia, no wine this night. Highly recommend this place, loved it.

This was the perfect restaurant for our one night in Ravenna. The staff was very friendly and the food was delicious. I highly recommend any of their freshly made pasta dishes! We had the rabbit and three different pasta dishes. All the pasta was excellent.

This rating is based on some things that were beyond the restaurants control and others that were. First I’ll tell what really was not the total fault of the restaurant: Right after we were seated, a young couple with an undisciplined 3 yr old was seated right beside us. Thankfully, after the temper tantrums were calmed by placing an iPad in his face, that drama calmed down, even with occasional outburst screams and yells as he watched the videos. Now on to the food: it was great and it was terrible. The steak tartare was fabulous as an opener. Our two pasta dishes were out of this world. My wife had the ravioli with truffle sauce. I had Tagliatelle with Porcini mushrooms. They were both outstanding. We should have stopped there. We both ordered the fish catch of the day which was a mixed seafood platter. It was tasteless and dry. It seemed like it was way overcooked and sat around in the kitchen before until served. It was terrible. So 5 stars for the appetizer and pastas and a 0 for the main course.

Excellent quality of food, fine taste. We got the tartare salmon - tuna which was perfect in taste, presentation and assortiments. Also the melon prosciutto and tagliatelle funghi porcini. For those who appreciate fine taste, strongly recommended.

The food was fine and the ambiance was very good--I especially liked how the kitchen and food preparation area was clearly visible from the dining room. Although initially very good, the service became a bit slow once more diners entered. However, I did not feel especially ignored, and the staff was friendly.

The food and service was excellent. We had the warm seafood salad and caprese salad as appetizers, and a pasta and sliced beef with mushrooms as our main courses. Everything was delicious. They also have a very good wine selection.

Delicious flavors of Emilia-Romagna!! The fresh pasta with ragu is the best!! Wait staff was very helpful to answer our questions and explain the menu choices.

A restaurant a bit out of the center of the town but worth the walk :) ! The food comes as what you expect from a great traditional trattoria italiana. It's simple, delicious and feels like a mom's hug.

We were greeted in an abrupt manner & asked what we wanted. We said we had a reservation so we were let in. NOTE - the restaurant was super empty. After many questions about our order the server finally understood we wanted each a plate of pasta. She did the same to some other guests. My main dinner was terrible. Clearly it had been cooked and reheated. Super dried out. When I explained it was too dry to eat the server passed by & dropped a bottle of olive oil on my table. Really? In the end her partner came to ask us to pay & told me a long story about how my dish is always dry and I should order something different next time. I was still charged. This meat was left over and reheated on a grill with grill marks on it… roasted meat has no grill marks. We will not be taking our travel groups here - they failed to offer decent customer service. It’s really a shame - we stayed in Ravenna several hours longer just to be there when they opened at 7pm.

An excellent restaurant. Near the main Ravenna railway station, it clearly attracts locals on a regular basis. And it is easy to see why. The food was freshly cooked (we could see the cook at his work), delicious and moderately priced. The wine was also good and not very expensive. The staff were extremely friendly, also understanding and encouraging to non-Italian speakers who want to be Italian speakers. We would go back.
