2/10Arrived for our reserved time and were told we couldn’t be seated outside. Reservations need to specify outside seating. No attempt to accommodate our party of four.

Dear Sir, our terrace has only 16 seats so if you do not specify where you want to sit, we will seat you wherever we can. I understand your disapproval, we would also like to have 50 outside seats, but your review is not objective.

10/10Food was the best we’ve had in Rome! The Salmon bruschetta was amazing, as were the pasta and steak dishes we tried. Highly recommend making this a must stop if you’re in Rome!

7/10We were quite hungry on arrival for our reservation and excited to try the food. Sadly the server forgot to put in our food order and by the time we got our orders we were so hungry and full of wine that it wasn’t enjoyable. We were super patient and understanding of the mishap (busy night, things happen) and the server did bring out some meatballs to snack on while we waited which was nice. They did try to make it up to us, we were just hungry and tired so we decided to get our dishes to go instead. Overall though - the servers were all very nice, the wine was delicious and the ambience was great. Would make a great date night spot!

8.5/10Friendly and good service. Nice ambience outside with string lights. I never miss a chance to order stuffed squash, blossoms, and here they were very good and cheesy. Also enjoyed the squid ink pasta with clams.

9.5/10It was a wonderful experience for me. The food was delicious and the staffs were full of hospitality. I ordered too much and could not eat all, they kindly arranged takeaway voluntarily.However It was my awful mistake to forget a tip for showing my gratitude. So I would like to say here it must be highly recommended restaurant for everyone in Rome.

10/10Such a great little restaurant with amazing antipasti & pastas! We went for lunch and it was extremely hot outside so we chose the inside seating which feels like you are eating in a cool wine cellar. A must if you are in the Esquilino neighborhood of Rome near The Colosseum.

9.5/10This was just across the way from Hotel Lirico where we were staying. We went fairly early so the atmosphere had not yet developed but later on it was buzzing and clearly popular. We both had rigatoni amatriciana and I can honestly say it was the best I have ever tasted. We had a side salad which was good but nothing special and were given some delicious bread. We sat outside. In a little area set up with pretty lights. The service was good and they appreciated our efforts to speak Italian.

3/10Service so bad that I never even got my main course! Wrong food delivered and I still did not get the right meal after a further 25 minutes. It seems that as most people are tourists they are not expecting return visits.

sorry for what happened, we tried to fix our mistake but you didn't give us the chance. As for customer care, I have to contradict you , but what you say about our general disinterest is not corretto as you can read from other comments. We often make mistakes, but we always try to fix it and try to get the customer out with a smile on his face

5.5/10They took too many reservations on New Year’s Eve night. In result we were waiting more than an hour on the street in front of the osteria to be seated. I understand they want to earn as much as possible after the difficult covid times and during the energetic crisis, but that’s how the places loose their reputation. Even though in the other circumstances they could be easily rated at least 9 out of 10. It’s the first time I’ve faced such a situation in Italy and I live here for five years (maybe I was lucky). The food was good. The idea of Cichetti - small bites of different regional dishes also very nice. The prices are decent, although we were charged extra 20% service “Capodanno” which we were a bit surprised, especially after the organisation disaster of that night.

Buongiorno, Abbiamo scelto di lasciare il nostro menù anche per la sera di capodanno, proprio per quella clientela che non aveva voglia di passare una serata intera al ristorante. Abbiamo quindi creato due orari di prenotazioni, 19 o 1930 fino alle 21 o 2130, tempo più che sufficiente per una cena, come abbiamo voluto che fosse, normale! Grazie all'impegno ed alla passione che dedichiamo a questo lavoro, riscuotiamo un discreto successo, cosa che si traduce nel fatto che molto spesso il nostro ristorante è a piena capienza, esattamente come il 31. Quindi nulla di nuovo rispetto ad altre serate, nulla c'entra il Covid o la crisi mondiale. Unico fattore è legato alla mancanza di rispetto di alcuni clienti del primo turno che hanno portato ritardi fino ad 1 ora ed avevano la strana pretesa di prendersela con comodo, ben oltre il tempo necessario per una comoda cena. L'aumento del 20% è legato all'aumento dei costi della materia prima e del personale per la serata particolare.

9/10The food was incredible. The meatball with cheese and pepper tasted like nothing I have ever eaten before. Everything was fresh, and you could tell home made. The pesto pasta might have been the best pesto I have ever eaten besides my mothers. The other issue was the climate. They do not have air conditioning, but do have big ceiling fans. Besides that nothing wrong at all.

10/10I don’t know why this place doesn’t appear at the top of every food guide in Rome. Honestly, 100% hidden gem. The service was amazing they were all super nice and friendly. Even the owner (I guess) was there and was super attentive. The food was delicious… specially the pasta and desserts. The place is a bit (one street) away from the main road so it’s easily accessed without being busy or annoying. Will go back for sure.

4.5/10We asked for the bill and had to wait 20 minutes before getting up and asking again because they still hadn’t brought it to us. After this poor service, they tried to charge us for bread that we didn’t receive and over charged for drinks.

Sorry for the slowness in bringing the bill, I would like to point out that you can also pay directly at the cashier; we realized that we had indicated the cost of ice tea at 4 euros, like other drinks, instead of 3,50 as written in the menu. They were mistakenly charged 1 euro more than the amount due, an amount immediately returned with an apology for the incident. Deserved 2 for the service, and 6 for food, little consolation!!

10/10Loved the all brick rooms downstairs. Great feel. Menu in English and very helpful waiter. We have food allergies and they were very accommodating. Pasta, lamb chops, and small dishes were all excellent.
