10/10Once the foodies and the instagrammers turn this into Da Enzo in Rome it’s going to be even harder to snag a table so I’ll just say this restaurant is the perfect combination of lovely ambiance, exceptional quality and great value

10/10Everything about the Osteria La Porta was perfect. The beef cheek melted in your mouth and the grilled sirloin with roasted potatoes was cooked to perfection The waitstaff was attentive and friendly. Reservations are a must. Although we ate inside because of rain, there is an expansive view of the Tuscan countryside from the terrace. Convenient free parking outside the walls was a plus. If you are in the area, we highly recommend dining here.

10/10Food, desserts and wine, all of great quality. the staff was friendly and helpful. The view from the outside tables (terrace) was amazing. Overall i highly reccomend it and if i had the chance i would visit it again

10/10Its located at the door of a very small village. We have been here three times and its busy always despite the town always looking abandoned in every season. The wine selection is excellent and the menu is constantly changing with the constant of a great cut of meat with truffle.

10/10We came from Canada, staying near by for a wedding. I have many food allergies and they were amazing for accommodations. The service was fantastic and the food; oh my goodness the food…incredible. I hope to be able to return someday. The views of the Tuscan valleys were also incredible! Grazie!

10/10Beautiful Osteria in the historic village of Monticchiello. The staff were attentive and the food was excellent and reasonably priced for the quality. The views of the San d’Orcia valley from this hilltop village are breathtaking.

10/10We have eaten at La Porta twice on this trip and both times the food had been delicious and the service exceptional. I’m gluten free and was able to get gf pasta with the Tuscan ragù sauce that was wonderful. For those who are not gf I would imagine that the homemade pasta would be even more mouth watering! We are staying in the area for two more weeks so we plan to return often.

10/10We looked for a restaurant were we could eat nice Tuscan food and where our daughter could eat vegan and luckily found the Osteria La Porta! It’s a great location with fantastic food & excellent service! Thank you for that lovely experience!

10/10We first ate at La Porta 6 years ago and loved it! Even though they are under new management, we had such a great experience the first time that we decided it was worth another visit. And, I am happy to report that it was just as amazing and memorable as our last visit!! Our server, Antonio was absolutely charming and a great host!! And, we LOVED the cat :)!! As vegetarians, it is always hard to find good choices, but there were many options for us in all of the categories. A BIG WIN!! Will definitely come back during our next visit to Tuscany!

10/10Absolutely stunning food and amazing views. The staff were very professional and attentive. I would definitely recommend you go here, if you book a table ask to go on the terrace. We had the perfect table overlooking the beautiful valley below!

10/10I saw many positive review online but as usual, us diners tend to look at the negative ones first. I found none of the complaints to be justified: the food was delicious and the service exceptional. The appetizers were not only exceptional but they were also beautifully plated and presented. They also had a unique antipasto with goat cheese that I would best describe as a birds nest pasta with sweet cherry and heirloom tomatoes. The secondis were the hit of the restaurant, with inventive types of meat. The restaurant has no problem dividing primis first
