Admittedly it was early evening, but always a little worrying when there’s no one else eating in the restaurant as you approach. Obviously they sat us in the window to try to make it look busier, but the waiter was polite and attentive so we hoped for the best. Unfortunately, the food was not great..we had gnocchi to start in a Gorgonzola sauce which was ok, but the mixed grill I had consisted of tough pork chop, a small fatty steak, a sausage meat steak with gristley bits, and a piece of grilled chicken breast which was the best of it. Vegetables were all a bit bland and overcooked. My wife’s tagliatelle was ok but not very big. The tiramisu was fairly good for desert, and wine was ok but overpriced for what it was. The bill came with no fork discount, but was still far too high when corrected for the quality of food. My advice would be to stay clear, as there are much better restaurants in Venice.

Delightful and delicious meal in the courtyard ...and the service was outstanding! Great location, just a few minute walk from Rialto and away from the crowds. We will certainly visit again on our next trip to Venice!

We really enjoyed dining in the hidden gem of the interior courtyard. It’s just a neat atmosphere. The service was very good. Our server was friendly and didn’t rush us at all. My wife and I both had a first course; she the gnocchi, I the ravioli. Both were excellent. For the second course, she had the chicken and really enjoyed it. I tried the calamari (which was in the spirit of trying the local flavor for me). I found it very tasty.

Nice people serving us but hardly anyone there between 7.00 and 8.30pm last Friday night. Food was cold and tasteless.I had the fish of the day.

Perfect in every way. Service was great. Food was best we’ve had so far. Setting with outside dining was great. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Thank you!

Kind and knowledgeable staff and service. We sat outside in the garden, which was lovely. My meal was outstanding- grilled calamari. The risotto and ravioli were also delicious. I would recommend to a friend and would absolutely return myself.

Good food in Venice I have come to Venice every year for 20 years and until I ate at Osteria Leon Bianco, had only found one good restaurant (which closed several years ago). Osteria Leon Bianco is excellent with generous portions and sensible prices. Good friendly service.

The recommendations from our waiter, Stefano for appetizers and entrees were delicious! I would highly suggest this place. We really enjoyed it! The cafe and wine were excellent as well! Service was spectacular!

Really enjoyed this local restaurant which was full. Food was good. Price was at the higher end of reasonable. The service could have been slightly more attentive at times but was friendly and fine. I would return.

Lunch there, we've been there before. Prices are tiny bit higher but that's a general happening. Pleasant staff and very central.

The food was decent but overpriced even for Venice. $9 for a glass of wine and $2.50 coperto for one very small slice of stale bread and 2 crackers per person in the basket.

The little courtyard is really nice , however the food was shocking and I mean awful . Have to say it was the worst food we had in Venice .Waste of time and a night out when you only have a few nights in Venice

Food was great. We had the gnocchi and tagliatelle with veggies. Dessert was chocolate cake freshly made and espresso. Excellent waiter.

Food was a little over cooked so disappointed as first meal in Venice. Wine was great and recommended by the waiter, who was lovely and attentive.

This place was okay, but not a stop for locals. The food was good, but not outstanding or anything to repeat. The service was good and the back garden was cute. But overall, it wasn’t worth the 50e/person price tag. There was limited variety of dishes.

Great Venetian local place. The Spaghetti al Ragu was delicious with the perfect match of a cup os red wine! My friend had the Tagliatelle con verdure and was very satisfied as well. We suggest to add the restaurant on your own Maps app, we got a little lost by using the directions over here.
