The pasta was over cooked! I have been to Rome many many times & never had pasta served like this. The service was terrible! On the up side we tried 2 of the soups that were very good.

Nice location and ambience. Food was decent but not awesome. The wait staff did not tend to us. As an American living in Europe, I enjoy not worrying about a tip. Instead, I had the mobile payment flipped in my face asking for a tip. I’d rather just pay more for food if the 2 Euro per person table fee is not enough.

Beautiful and staff was friendly but seemed confused Ordered the fried artichoke which came dripping with oil and the oil smelled and tasted old. Ordered a prosecco which arrived warm

Food was great. I love the little back street feel to the location.

While it is close to the Vatican, the food doesn’t stand out in a meaningful way. However the prices are good.

Chairs are dated and uncomfortable. Food was very good.

Nuvolari was great, but always rating everything is a pain.

Service was a shambles from start to finish, they made faulty towers look world class. We arrived and someone else had taken our reservation so after a mini UN summit they stuck us on a table outside. We eventually ordered are food and drinks with starters arriving in dribs and drabs meaning 3 of us had finished before the individual who ordered the cold starter had even arrived. We ordered 2 bottles of wine (red/white) which again arrived after we had finished our starters. Even worse they only brought us 4 glasses even though we asked for 8. Mains came promptly to be fair but food was look warm and randomly they hadn’t cleared our starter dishes? We had ordered some sides and again had to ask twice before they were brought to the table. The food was tasty and of a good quality just so let down by the slap dash service. They then completed the hat trick by offering the dessert menu then never came back to take our orders. We just gave up, paid our bill and moved on with our night.

The food was very good, but what made our visit memorable was our server and her colleague who provided friendly, top notch service to a full house of guests.

Rustic ambiance and delicious menu options. Kind service and attention to detail. We would eat here often if we lived in Rome!

Server was nice but not knowledgeable or efficient. That was the best part of this tourist trap.

It was in the Vatican so location was perfect after we heard mass at St Peter’s Basilica. The food and service were excellent and the ambiance was just right. I will definitely recommend to my friends who plan to go to Rome for the Jubilee Year.

This is a lovely restaurant in the cobbled streets close to the walls of the Vatican City and St Peter's Square. It has a menu that is very different to the usual tourist restaurants in the area with lovely friendly staff and a quiet traditional feel. The food was wonderful - the very Roman starters of fried artichoke and cod croquettes then a main course of lamb that melted in the mouth. Wine served by the glass was delicious and very reasonably priced too. One not to miss!

Great food, lots of options to eat artichokes!

Service was fast, friendly and fun. Food, while fresh and tasty, was so salty that it was impossible to eat.

Really good restaurant. Carciofi were good and tagliere was excellent. Tripe and pasta (carciofi & guanciale, very crunchy) also excellent. Diverse wine list, good selection. Atmosphere lively and informal. Great place!

Great food and wine at really good prices. Perfect location for lunch or dinner in the Vatican. Friendly and comfortable atmosphere and nice staff.

The only meal that we enjoyed in Rome

We had reservations at noon and we were told by one worker that they opened at 12:30.

The service was smily and gentle. The meal was really great! Especially the Mandarine Parfait and the roasted octopus!

We chose this place by reviews in Google. There were only tourists there. Zucchini flowers were good, octopus starter was great, pasta was great, salad did not have dressing (disappointing), cod main course was good, beef tartare was cut in big pieces and the meat wasn’t tender. Service was fine. Overall is good but I would choose something more Italian and less touristy next time.

Great ambiance and good food quality overall. The cod, olive and dried cherry tomatoes pasta was excellent! The service was great as they accommodated my daughter's request to change paccheri pasta to spaghetti.

Amazing as always!
