Very authentic, inviting and cosy atmosphere. Kind reception when you arrive. Predominately local food. Antipasti (try focaccia with anchovies! - delicious!) were tasty. Mind the size- portions are very generous! You may struggle to finish all that great food you’ve ordered:) Primo piatto: pasta with octopus was amazing! Secondi: tagliata was at high level, well prepared and served, but I wouldn’t say it was “unique”. Stuff: very friendly, timely, good team work! A truly unique detail though: if you sit downstairs in the room left after the stairs - you will see (no spoilers!) a very interesting way how the food commutes from the kitchen to the dining area:) Enjoy!

Such a friendly welcome, great service and top quality food make this place the best value in Genova - we keep going back as the standards remain high. Well done to the whole team

Service & food was good. We did not like sitting next to the toilet & having people knocking into our chair during our visit. The place is small but our experience was disgusting due to people using the toilet next to uur seat. They also charged a 2.60/pp sitting fee

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent. The atmosphere is a little tight and a little noisy, but the food was great distracting from this minor issues. The servers were good but over worked, make the experience slightly slow. The only negative to the food it was all a little colder than we generally enjoy, but the taste and quality compensated for it.

We had a wonderful meal last night. The atmosphere was lively yet we were not rushed. The wine we were directed to was perfecto!

Popular restaurant with good ambience. Wine very good although more expensive than other restaurants we went to. Food was very good although my steak was over done. Service was mixed.

Wonderful little gem. The only problem is that there were so many great choices on the menu it was really tough deciding what to order. Everything that we tried was really delicious. I wish we could have ordered the whole menu.

Probably visited this place 4 or 5 times in the past few months and the quality never disappoints Overall combination of friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent service and stunning food make this hard to beat

My husband and I dined at Osteria Rustichello last year when we were visiting Genoa, absolutely LOVED our meals, and HAD to return to this restaurant again during this year’s visit! I chose the artichoke stuffed ravioli with shrimp and it was AMAZING! My husband ordered the sea bass and could not get over how much he enjoyed it! The tiramisu and panna cotta with caramel sauce were equally delicious. The ambiance is wonderful, the service attentive, such a gem of a restaurant!

Food was ok but very expensive. Service really poor Waiter looked annoyed when we asked if our drinks were coming after 20min. Staff very noisy and rushed Not a very relaxing experience

We ate here on two consecutive nights. Restaurant in a great location, and has a wonderful atmosphere. The food, the service and the wine were terrific. The staff were very friendly.

The food was excellent and the service was great! It is a small restaurant and very popular, which means it can get quite loud.

Cozy restaurant with friendly staff who speak good English. We ordered a starter, a bottle of wine, and a main course, but were almost bursting out of our clothes afterward, haha. The food was very tasty, and we paid about 40 euros per person. Highly recommended!

Went several times and have always enjoyed it. Fresh creative menu with classics from the Liguria region. Wonderful welcoming service.

The quality of food was very good! We enjoyed the cozy atmosphere of the place. The level of service was not so high as the servant somehow forgot several things, it can happen although. However at the end the chef Velariy came to our table asking about our experience. We had a warm discussion and positivity overwhelmed)) Will come back again!

Appetizers were great. Especially bruschetta and grilled calamari. Fried calamari was ok. We had pasta, seared fish and fried fish. Very plain and without any flavoured . Tiramisu was ok

We were disappointed. It was crowded and noisy. I had artchoke ravioli with few small shrimp. The sauce was not the appropriate sauce. My husband had the pasta of the day with polpo and it had the same sauce as mine. Again not the appropriate sauce. I love to cook and in my opinion, food would have been delicious if appropriate sauce was used. Owner asked if food was good but not sure if it's a good idea to say something while other customers can listen.

Solid local Italian on first night in Genova. Dining area inside is small and compact and was warm that evening. There are 2 downstair dining areas and we were in a corner of the smallest with a reservation. Service was good and recommended local wine was great. Good portions and quality. I would recommend and request a table in the larger room or outside on a nice evening.

Outstanding little restaurant near Brignole station. Easy to book online, welcoming staff, and some of the best food we ate all week. Would unhesitatingly recommend to fans of excellent wine and delicious food.

We used to visit here over 20 years ago and although the people running it were different it has kept its homely vibe and served very good food and wine. The staff are super friendly and it was a pleasure to return. Great little institution where the staff work really hard to keep their customers happy. Thank you!

The service was superb! The waiter made two suggestions; one for wine which was actually amazing, the other suggestion was for the antipasti and again did not disappoint. We shared two pasta (primi) between 4 people and two mains (secondi). We all left very satisfied and full. Highly recommend.
