Delicious food and excellent service! We had the spaghetti with seafood, pasta with mushrooms, and pasta with meat sauce (beef). Then we finished our meal with Nonna's cake and a cappuccino! This restaurant is a gem - highly recommended!

warm lighting, inviting decor, created a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. The service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing. We ordered the signiture dish - T-bone steak. it was cooked beautifully, every bite was so enjoyable. The accompanying sides were delicious as well - roasted vegetable & potatoes. The wine selection was another highlight. We were guided to a smooth red that paired beautifully with the steak, elevating the entire meal. And for dessert, We had Tiramisu which was also delicious.

Charming gem hidden in the Santo Spirito district. Very friendly waiters, great menu selections, romantic ambiance. But, both good for an intimate 1 on 1 but big enough for sprawling Italian families. All work. You have to GIVE IT A TRY. Won't disappoint.

Brilliant experience. One of our best dinners in Italy. We had an attentive and friendly waiter who was patient with our lack of Italian. We tried their specialties - the cheese wheel pasta, beef carpaccio, truffle ravioli and a steak. Each dish was unique and exquisitely prepared. Loved how the cheese wheel came out as the pasta was prepared in front of us. Steak was medium rare and melted in our mouth. Very good value for the quality. Cover charge is 3 euro, but included bread and a smaller appetiser. Can't recommend this enough.

HIDDEN GEM! Welcoming attractive restaurant. Very attentive wait staff . . . very friendly chatting and offering food advice. Respectable menu offerings. But the best thing about my meal was the preparation - table-side - of my Caccio e Pepe. Sure "Italian Mac n Cheese" doesn't have to be anymore special but they made it so with table-side prep in a HUGE round of Gran Padano cheese, adding flaming fluid to melt the cheese, and then adding the prepped pasta to the melted cheese before serving it to me hot and creamy and delicious! I will try to upload a few images. I recommend this place without reservation.

Environment and staff was welcoming and bright. Food was mixed - some pastas were very under-seasoned (e.g. little salt in the boiling water.) while others tasted fantastic. The “elephant’s ear” pork loin was lacking any flavor. I’d recommend sticking with the primi pasta dishes, if anything - maybe we just ordered poorly, or came on an off-night.

What a great restaurant in Santo Spirito. We had the chef’s selection of starters, which is a platter that is more than enough for four people, with a selection of prosciutto, cheese, bruschetta and breads with patês. The mains we had a selection of pasta dishes and the star of the show was the cacio e pepe served in the cheese wheel. The tortello mugellano was great. The service was fantastic as well, our waiter was very helpful and went the extra mile. Highly recommend this place.

A hidden gem in Florence! I had a spontaneous dinner at Osteria Toscanella and was impressed. The atmosphere is warm and tranquil, the staff were exceptionally friendly and professional. As for the food: absolutely delicious. I had the sirloin steak with sautéed mushrooms and the beef carpaccio, which was fresh and beautifully presented. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Florence who appreciates quality food and excellent service in a cosy setting.

We were 2 persons with 2 reservation and 2 promo code together. It seems that the restaurant has accepted only one reservation and maybe rejected the order one as we sat at the one table. Finally we had to pay once and missed one of promo codes (25 Euro) 😭

Under new management for just a few weeks, Osteria Toscanella leaves no detail to chance. The vaulted ceilings and transparent floor tiles celebrate the historic settling. The tables are beautifully set, with each dish matched to a presentation that enhances the delicious food. The service provided by Eldis and Safwan was professional, courteous, informative, and friendly. From papperdelle chiangale through made-at-table cacio y pepe and truffle specialties to salads and desserts, this was a delightful evening — so much so that we cancelled our plans for tomorrow evening in order to return.

Atmosphere was cosy but sophisticated, carpaccio was delicious - cheese paired with a honey sauce, phenomenal, the perfect balance of creamy richness and tangy sweetness. My partner ordered mugello tortelli with tuscan ragu which I can only assume was delicious as the plate was cleaned off. I ordered something out my comfort zone, fresh pasta pockets stuffed with burrata topped with Tuscan sausage and truffle. The flavours were each unique on their own but balanced themselves out to create a complex but warm and comforting meal. We booked this restaurant last minute and we would definitely book again. Thank you!

Great service in beautiful historic palazzo (ask about the location and the pozzo Toscanelli!), and truly delicious food! One of the experiences we’ve had through The Fork and in Florence 😍
