When thinking what to eat for dinner we remembered that one guide told us this is a nice restaurant and we weren’t disappointed. We went there for some pasta, which was delicious, freshly made; the waitress was very friendly, also the prices were very reasonable. All in all a great experience.

Close to our hotel but off in a quiet area with a great local feel. A spacious interior with elegant and modern interior with touches of older charm with the old columns. The service was friendly and professional and the servers were accomdiating in English. While there were some other tourists eating, there were also a lot of locals enjoying their meals and speaking happily in Italian. The food was great, our risotto, riboletta, and ossubuco were all well prepared, flavorful, and with large portions. Our wine was also great and their selections were wide and varied and we wished we had room to try more than just our bottle. Overall,

+5We had a wonderful dinner at Osteria Toscanella. The Tuscan dishes were authentic and full of flavour, the pasta perfectly cooked, and the portions generous. The cozy atmosphere and warm, attentive service made the experience even more memorable. A lovely spot in Florence and we would happily return!

9.5/10Two things which stood out from this special Little place - the food and the service. We had the steak which was of excellent quality and cooked to perfection. The two guys who looked after us were attentive, professional and friendly. Great experience- I would thoroughly recommend.

8.5/10I went for an earlier dinner around 6:30, and I was the only one in the restaurant. Both waiters there were super friendly. I ordered the Pici alla Carrettiera and a Hugo Spritz. Overall, pretty good food.

10/10This is the perfect Osteria to have a wonderful dinner in Florence. The staff were helpful in choosing our meals. They suggested items that would pair well with our dinner. I ordered the lamb chops and roasted potatoes. The rest of my party ordered the grilled fish and pasta dishes. We would all order again. This is a must visit during your visit to Florence.

We realised later the highly priced aged red chosen to enjoy with a carbonara pasta to share as a starter, beef cheek main for my husband & osso bucco Fiorentina for myself, turned out to be wasted outlay. The wine alone being worthwhile. Looking nice isn’t enough .. our starter being thoughtfully plated separately,. & even if it was delivered attractively on warmed plates, which we appreciated . …. was barely taste-recognizable as the famed Roman classic egg yolk/ pancetta/ cheese delight it ought to be. Strike One. Both the mains lacked the rich definition they should have possessed …my osso bucco meat wasn’t luscious & my husband’s beef cheek similarly disappointing - neither with definitive texture/flavor..these dishes far too highly priced just under €30, + sides extra (!) & coupled with the exorbitant cover charge, this restaurant delivered overpriced & undistinguished food ..& we didn’t get our promised 20% discount adding insult to injury. Not Recommended. Seek better elsewhere

Perfect from start to finish, one of the best meals we've had in Italy - we had the cacio e pepe, tbone steak and the steak tartare w burrata/truffles. 💯 recommend the pasta, cooked al dente and the cheese was just perfect for the pasta. Did not have super high expectations for dessert but were very impressed with the cheesecake berries. Service was friendly, kind and they accomodated us almost immediately even though we came in late. 10/10 would come back again 🙌

10/10We really enjoyed Osteria Toscanella. The beef carpaccio was delicious followed by a seafood pasta for me which was full of flavour as was my husbands very generous portion of Ossobuco alla fiorentina. The restaurant was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. We arrived early and they gave us a complimentary drink while waiting for our table.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had the carbonara which was absolutely stunning, I also had a glass of white wine (which I’m presuming was their house wine) and that was beautiful too. Very good value for money, will be going back.

Came here with my sister for dinner since it was just a 2-minute walk from our Airbnb. From booking to payment, everything was seamless. Service was warm and friendly from the start, and the staff made us feel welcome. We ordered the house Chianti, pici carrettiera, carbonara, and a mixed salad. Everything came out hot, fresh, and flavorful. We booked through The Fork and received the 20% off à la carte without any issues. I had a little trouble processing payment through the app, but the host was courteous and helped with everything. One tip: always check your itemized receipt! We noticed a charge for water we didn’t have, but when we mentioned it, the host removed it right away. No fuss, no attitude, just kindness and understanding. Overall, a great spot for a relaxed meal with good food and genuinely nice service.

10/10If in Florence do yourself a favour and go to this restaurant. It was a very short walk over the Ponte Vecchio. This was the best meal we have had since being here. The service was excellent and the food well what can we say but absolutely delicious!!! Thank you
