10/10We really enjoyed Osteria Toscanella. The beef carpaccio was delicious followed by a seafood pasta for me which was full of flavour as was my husbands very generous portion of Ossobuco alla fiorentina. The restaurant was beautiful and the staff were very friendly. We arrived early and they gave us a complimentary drink while waiting for our table.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had the carbonara which was absolutely stunning, I also had a glass of white wine (which I’m presuming was their house wine) and that was beautiful too. Very good value for money, will be going back.

Came here with my sister for dinner since it was just a 2-minute walk from our Airbnb. From booking to payment, everything was seamless. Service was warm and friendly from the start, and the staff made us feel welcome. We ordered the house Chianti, pici carrettiera, carbonara, and a mixed salad. Everything came out hot, fresh, and flavorful. We booked through The Fork and received the 20% off à la carte without any issues. I had a little trouble processing payment through the app, but the host was courteous and helped with everything. One tip: always check your itemized receipt! We noticed a charge for water we didn’t have, but when we mentioned it, the host removed it right away. No fuss, no attitude, just kindness and understanding. Overall, a great spot for a relaxed meal with good food and genuinely nice service.

10/10If in Florence do yourself a favour and go to this restaurant. It was a very short walk over the Ponte Vecchio. This was the best meal we have had since being here. The service was excellent and the food well what can we say but absolutely delicious!!! Thank you

Fantastic food and service! We were so grateful we found this place on the Fork. The risotto, wild boar tagliatelle, seafood spaghetti and whole basked Seabass fish were standouts. The waiters were all so lovely and friendly and funny! Highly recommend this place for a traditional Tuscan experience. It’s also down a quiet side street and the interior is very charming.

It was hard for me to decide where I was going to rate the restaurant in each category because truly there were no real issues. The food was definitely very good. I had the pappardelle with wild boar and it was excellent and reasonably priced. I forgot the actual name of what my wife ate, but it was basically ravioli filled with potato topped with ragu. She thoroughly enjoyed it as well. We were the only ones eating there around noon, but maybe we were just eating earlier than most people. As a result, the service was perfectly fine, but there really was no ambience because it was empty. The only thing that surprised me was the cover charge on the check. It was weird because why would there be a cover charge when there literally had no one else eating there? I cannot complain though because we did get 50% off by booking through the app. I still added an extra 5 euro tip as well just because of the discount that was given.

10/10Delicious food and excellent service! We had the spaghetti with seafood, pasta with mushrooms, and pasta with meat sauce (beef). Then we finished our meal with Nonna's cake and a cappuccino! This restaurant is a gem - highly recommended!

warm lighting, inviting decor, created a relaxed yet refined atmosphere. The service was impeccable—attentive without being overbearing. We ordered the signiture dish - T-bone steak. it was cooked beautifully, every bite was so enjoyable. The accompanying sides were delicious as well - roasted vegetable & potatoes. The wine selection was another highlight. We were guided to a smooth red that paired beautifully with the steak, elevating the entire meal. And for dessert, We had Tiramisu which was also delicious.

10/10Charming gem hidden in the Santo Spirito district. Very friendly waiters, great menu selections, romantic ambiance. But, both good for an intimate 1 on 1 but big enough for sprawling Italian families. All work. You have to GIVE IT A TRY. Won't disappoint.

Brilliant experience. One of our best dinners in Italy. We had an attentive and friendly waiter who was patient with our lack of Italian. We tried their specialties - the cheese wheel pasta, beef carpaccio, truffle ravioli and a steak. Each dish was unique and exquisitely prepared. Loved how the cheese wheel came out as the pasta was prepared in front of us. Steak was medium rare and melted in our mouth. Very good value for the quality. Cover charge is 3 euro, but included bread and a smaller appetiser. Can't recommend this enough.

+2HIDDEN GEM! Welcoming attractive restaurant. Very attentive wait staff . . . very friendly chatting and offering food advice. Respectable menu offerings. But the best thing about my meal was the preparation - table-side - of my Caccio e Pepe. Sure "Italian Mac n Cheese" doesn't have to be anymore special but they made it so with table-side prep in a HUGE round of Gran Padano cheese, adding flaming fluid to melt the cheese, and then adding the prepped pasta to the melted cheese before serving it to me hot and creamy and delicious! I will try to upload a few images. I recommend this place without reservation.

6.5/10Environment and staff was welcoming and bright. Food was mixed - some pastas were very under-seasoned (e.g. little salt in the boiling water.) while others tasted fantastic. The “elephant’s ear” pork loin was lacking any flavor. I’d recommend sticking with the primi pasta dishes, if anything - maybe we just ordered poorly, or came on an off-night.
