10/10Lovely restaurant a few side streets away from the main tourist areas. Good atmosphere, clean & nicely decorated. All the food we had was excellent. My first taste of Tuscan bread soup which was delicious. The rabbit was good as were the pasta dishes. Large portions - you could share the bruschetta or mains. Friendly staff, not too expensive & we were given a bottle of wine when we left.

10/10Wonderful meal at this restaurant’s second location near Santa Croce. We had the lardo and truffle bruschetta, mezzaluna pasta filled with ricotta cheese and topped with a truffle cream and toasted almonds, followed by a 1kg bistecca Fiorentina with black volcanic salt from Hawaii. Wine list was small but well chosen. Limoncello to finish. The entire meal was delicious. The ambiance was very welcoming and comfortable. The service was excellent and staff was very friendly. They even sent us home with a complimentary bottle of wine. We look forward to visiting on our next trip to Florence.

10/10A great little restaurant in a bustling part of the city. Really friendly staff in a stylish restaurant. The food was really great and perfect when combined with a fine wine from an extensive list. Be advised to book in advance as many turned away. Definitely worth seeking out.

6/10Food was to a good standard, desert can be a little ambiguous as well as the cocktails, I also asked for a special request, as it was my girlfriend‘s birthday and no effort was made almost as if they did not read the request.

7/10The location was extremely quaint, and very nice restaurant good experience as far as the visit the lamb was not good. It was overcooked and very thin. The ravioli on the other hand was very good the ravioli with truffles sauce. The ravioli dough was very thin and the ricotta interior was amazing.

10/10The facade of this restaurant was not expected but once you enter you are met with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was very friendly and the meal was delicious. The wine recommendation was perfect. We especially enjoyed the eggplant appetizer, the pappardelle with ragu and the lamb. It was a sweet date night.

9.5/10We had an excellent stake dinner at Osteria Vecchio Cancello 2. We had the burrata salad appetizer and also the carmelized strawberry and cream dessert. Everything was excellent from taste to presentation and we very much enjoyed the visit and will certainly go again during our time in Florence.

10/10The best in Santa Croce, if not in Florence. A week stay and tried other highly rated places and ended up going back there again. Every dish on the menu was sublime without any complaints. We hope we can visit there again soon.
