10/10We had a wonderful evening at Osteria Villa Zuccaro! Their menu and wine list are exceptional. Especially notable was the pulpo appetizer and the ravioli with shrimp. One member of our group is a vegetarian, and she found several options. The service was friendly and helpful.

The greeting by front of house staff okay, but team engagement and any positive attitude seemed to go down once they learned I had reserved a table. Service was cold and perfunctory without smiles by all staff. Not what we experienced in other Taormina restaurants and other parts of Sicily.

3.5/10No meat in the lasagna and completely overpriced. When we raised it, they offered us a “gesture” of limoncello and almond bread at the end – but that’s something they serve everyone anyway, so it felt disingenuous rather than a genuine apology. The table next to us had the exact same issue. Overall, really disappointed.

10/10The owner of our hotel (BelDuomo) recommended this restaurant, so we had our first meal (lunch) there. I ordered veal; my husband ordered an Eggplant dish. Both were excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. We will likely return before we leave Taormina.

10/10We had a wonderful dinner at Ostera Villa Zuccaro - our appetizers were splendid (especially the polpo), and all our meals were excellent. The staff was helpful and attentive to all our needs. Thank you for a great evening.
