Great night, awesome service! we enjoy the Osteria Villari, the staff is passionate about their food and very friendly . The food tasted very good, we are very happy about the quality! highly recommended!

I ate here last week and didn't like it but I went back because I didn't realize it was the same place until I arrived. I didn't have a very good experience the first time but this time was a lot better.

The meal started great with my first course but I ordered the mixed fried seafood for second course and, while the shrimp were delicious, the calamari smelled and tasted fishy and were tough. I left almost all the dish over and when the waiter asked if it was okay I told him but he made a lame excuse that when the calamari are breaded and fried they dry out. I have had this dish numerous times and know that this is not true. I thought he was comp a dessert or a lemoncello but he charged me for both. They were only a few euros each and it would have been a nice gesture. I was there from when the restaurant opened at 7:30 until 8:45 and no one else came in. I guess they knew something that I didn't.

Food came rushed, sides were served way before the main and the main dishes came out apart, one person had to wait for the other and had a cold meal. The 7000 plus reviews must be a scam!

We loved everything about this restaurant! Our waiter was fabulous and the experience of going to the counter to select our steak was fun. We had a local wine that was light and refreshing after a long travel day. Molto bene!

A lovely Osteria, very pleasantly decorated inside. Friendly and bubbly staff, good quality food and good red wine.

The food was absolutely delicious. Pepper stark melted in my mouth. And the dessert a strawberry type of tiramisu was unbelievably scrumptious.

The place is off the beaten track and consequently was very quiet. Service was good. Welcoming very pleasant. We had the same dishes as the table next door but they were different. We received no bread and yet we’re charged the full coperreto of €4. Our food was fresh and beautifully cooked but our dish lacked the finishing touches of balsamico reduction that the table next to us had. It may seem trivial but it’s important to be consistent. It’s a nice place nice people and lovely decoration and food.

Unexpected hidden gem. Lots of great thing to say, but the price/quality ratio was the largest pleasant surprise.

The food is mediocre, but unfortunately they fool turists with the wine card. They brought us just a small card of wine with extremely expensive wines and we didn’t realize that there was other choices outside of the card. The result was very expensive for a dinner in Bari. Sad to take advantage of these things.

The meat was excellent, the pasta lovely. The service was very friendly! Also the atmosphere of the restaurant is very nice. This was our last day in Puglia and we saved the best for last

An un-expectedly ellegant place very well located in Borgo Vecchio, however with plenty of initmate atmosphere inside. Excellent service with 2 very knowledgeable, attentive but discrete waiters. Excellent cuisine from a very nicely balanced menu carte with both selection of Apulian as well as meat dishes.. Speciality in meat and the variety of top class steaks will make many salivate. The presentation of the dishes making one to really get hungry. A place I will certainly want to return when again in Bari and recommend to friends.

This restaurant was a gem!! The food was wonderful and the staff,especially George, was amazing…..we had the most delicious steaks ???? and desserts that were beyond yummy. If you’re in Bari, it’s a “can’t miss” place!!

The food was excellent. The server was attentive and explain the difference between the different cuts. They wheel out the sizzling steak which is quite a show. We would highly recommend this place.

A great place if you want to enjoy good Italian cuisine and especially if you like red meat well grilled on the BBQ. An original setting and a very good service. I recommend 100% if you wish to enjoy a nice evening with friends or family around good food and good wine. We tried a couple restaurants in Bari, and this one seemed to not be the "tourist attraction", which is a good thing in my opinion.

Very busy restaurant. Sadly our orders weren’t served in full, service was very bad due to lack of staff or organization. One of our meals had an issue - the restaurant did apologize and take it off the invoice though.

Nice place Expensive dish (price are only for the meat, you must add 4 to 6 € to have French fries or vegetables or potatoes) Service is ok Pasta was ok, too salty, not so wonderful as some comments

Beef strips didn’t make me excited at all, ordinary quality like in ordinary restaurant, don’t know why the rating is high in Tripadvisor. The receptionist didn’t find my booking which I made via The Fork, so they gave me a table close to the reception desk and therefore every new comer touched my table at least once when arrived and was passing me by.

Superb service and a fantastic menu . The waiters were extremely attentive and gave good clear recommendations. It was good value for money too and I would certainly go back . The steak in particular was outstanding and so well done .

Friendly and attentive staff, we had excellent meat, cooked expertly on the charcoal grill. Reasonably priced meal and good house wine. The pasta dishes looked good too.
