Servers were so nice and understanding even when French isn’t my first language, food was amazing, loved the oysters and salmon salad. Seriously best service I’ve experienced in a while

4.5/10The place is shabby, decore is not pleasant, the A/C hardly worked, service was not very professional. Our waitress was a college student with little experience. She mixed up orders, had to be reminded to bring things like a spoon for soup. The food was OK, but nothing that would entice us to come back again. With so many choices, we were sorry we selected this place.

Brilliant place, with fabulous waitress. Famous for Oysters but don’t worry there are other things like the very tasty tuna we had. All the dishes we had were lovely. Nice wine selection too.

10/10The food was really excellent. I especially liked the fish soup and ceviche. The oysters were delicious. And our waitress was attentive and very friendly.. Served my grandson 5 baskets of the best baguette. We will recommend and return to OSTRA!

6.5/10Service was very slow and it took one hour for oysters to arrive after ordering. Mains were tasty. Servers were polite and apologetic but the kitchen was struggling.

Service is really bad, especially the black guy. This is our first time we experienced all dishes came at the same time in Paris. We haven’t finished our oysters and the main dishes came. The table is so tiny, it’s hard to fit in all dishes if they came at the same time. The fish ceviche and octopus salad are too sour. At the end, the black guy, not sure if he did it on purpose, dropped the spoon on my husband’s pant. I also saw the table next to us had the bread from the previous customer. I wouldn’t recommend thus restaurant to anyone who would like to spend a great evening in a restaurant!

Great unexpected find -close to the Notre Dame , I was lucky to get a reservation for myself pretty much in the last minute early evening - many came after , the place was full . It’s a compact airy space , if you are into oysters and bulots - this is the place - very fresh and the accompanying complemented the seafood beautifully . I also had the duck which was excellent . It does get busy so be patient , in spite it the staff is very nice and service is good .

7/10Oysters were good. The desserts were ok. If you have had real crème brûlée then I would recommend you pass having it here. The server is as wonderful.

While it’s in a prime tourist spot a few steps away from Notre Dame, this is far from a tourist trap. They take pride in the freshness of their food — their oysters are locally sourced! We got 12 of the mignonne, which were fairly priced but so, so good that we were tempted to order another 12. Their Peruvian cod ceviche was fresh and tasty too! The place was cozy, with Scandinavian-style interior, but what shone the most was the friendly service from the staff. They made us feel like part of their family. They spoke fluent English, Spanish, and French! I will definitely eat here again when in town!

10/10It is not a top restaurant but rather a typical small Paris eatery. But - with a kick. In fact, there are several kicks. First and most importantly, they have their own oyster farm and offer an excellent choice of fresh and exquisite oysters. Second, they have all other famous French cuisine attractions like frog legs plus, of course, fish and seafood and desserts. The atmosphere is casual but typical Parisian, the one you expect from the Latin Quarter.
