An authentic taste of Italy in the heart of Madrid. Another incredible restaurant in this beautiful and sunny city.

Best Sicilian restaurant in Madrid.

A friend and I had a New Year’s Eve meal which was a fixed price 7 course menu for 149 euros. I could not fault anything, the food and service was excellent. Grapes and Champagne at midnight, just a little subdued for New Year’s Eve. I will definitely return.

A fantastic experience

Food was ok but not spectacular (especially the pizza can be improved). Service was very bad (I was given the wring menu and had to wait ages to order). Ambience was just ok (I was put next to a service table). The bill was expensive; I was charged for bread and olive oil (which was offered to me) and for tap water (which should be free). I understand they are trying to modernise Itslian cuisine, but at the moment it is 'Form over substance'.

Great place and service. Good food

Just one word: perfect. Service, food, atmosphere. It was all amazing. Quality was at the top. We enjoyed some truly original Italian food from fried starters from Palermo to the classic pizza Margherita down to a super fresh and homemade tiramisù. We will check this place again when we will have the chance. Oh by the way, we are Italians and more often than not we eat the so called Italian food which turns out to be a disappointment.

The quality of the food was quite poor

Maria (and Dylan) were wonderful hosts for a dinner between two old friends. Service was oozing charm but not overbearing. As to the food, excellent Sicilian fare, simple but cooked to perfection and delicious. Hats off to the Tagliatta, wonderfully breaded and tantalizingly rare. Very original and fresh pumpkin seed fermented beer. However, Sicilians should do better with cake. The coffee is up to Italian standards, in place like Madrid that says all. The brick oven looks promising. Next time we’ll try Neapolitan pizza and Sicilian pizza…. they look promising.
