So delicious! I recommend asking the server for their recommendations on what to order. They are known for specialty items on their menu and those are the foods you should order because they are “typical” Sardinia foods. Great lunch after a boat tour!

I’ve never tried this local specialty and I must say that’s very good! The tomato sauce is tasty and the lady that works there is so nice and helpful explaining everything. Try Pranefratteria Cagliari it really worth it!!!

We went to this restaurant because of a picture in the Sardinia magazine with a Pane Frattau. I searched which restaurant offered this in Cagliari and Panefratteria came up. We endured the July hot weather and found the restaurant with good air conditioning and water and wine ready to go! The food was excellent and exceeded my expectations. Hope to be back soon.

Simplicity done well is the absolute best and you will not be disappointed here. We loved it. Try the Pane Fratteau - lovely bread base with tomato.
