We were looking for authentic Dutch pancakes during our visit to Amsterdam. We were very happy to find the Pannenkoekenhuis Candela, which was, thankfully, a bit removed from the overly touristy areas. The pancakes were delicious and the coffee was also great. We enjoyed chatting with the owner in several languages. This restaurant is worth a visit!

Made reservation on Fork app and followed directions to restaurant only to find it closed for holiday / vacation. 60 minutes time gone. Owner sent apology afterwards.

Very delicious pancakes, both savory and sweet. The flavors were wonderful. The wait staff were great, attentive and friendly. We would recommend it to others.
