5/10The dinner and cocktail were above average. But the reason we went was for the view. There was no view. The rooftop area was closed and we were seated in a small yellow room with loud music from the 70’s, Very grim.

10/10I cannot fault the evening at Scaletta from beginning to end the service was just at the right level and the food was exquisite the massive added bonus was that he stunning views over the Florence skyline to make the evening perfect

3.5/10Strange vibe- tourist trap-like. Artificial turf- and not the quality kind of turf -as flooring. It’s like they rolled out a restaurant on an outdoor balcony and the fact that they’re serving food is an afterthought.

10/10I proposed to my partner this evening in the most incredible setting. The views are perfect (and I don’t say that lightly); the service was incredible, the food was sensational. This whole evening was an absolute dream and I couldn’t be happier with everything this restaurant provided. Thank you so much to the staff for a once in a lifetime experience. Thank you.

10/10I made a reservation for three for my wife's birthday which included our 2-year old bouncy boy. I had seen online that the place was great and had a pretty 360° of Florence and had very good reviews. My wife says the place was 10 out of 5. What else can I say? Just thank the stafft who waited for us even if we were running a bit late. And thank our waitress Cadie for her kindness.

3.5/10Our reservation was for 830pm and there were Bees everywhere...yes, BEES!!! Restaurant should have something place to prevent bees in the rooftop area. It was very annoying having to keep swatting away bees from us while sitting there and we not the only table annoyed. I am allergic to bee stings!!! Bees finally went away as sun went down almost an hour later. Won't be going backrecommending this place. Food was just ok and service not great. For prices charged didn't except such poor overall service.

10/10The food and service were outstanding and the view was amazing! Pitti Palace/Boboli Gardens on one side and Florence skyline on the other. The staff were so friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wines.

10/10The rooftop terrace is spectacular every time, the service is spectacular and the group that was eating all started speaking with one another, which was nice. The food was fantastic and they were able to accommodate my allergies.

9/10I would recommend going before sunset so you can get a little better visibility, however, the view is really beautiful at night, too. The wait staff was great, so nice and very attentive. The food was good too, we would recommend the bread soup! Wine selection was great and the wait staff had great recommendations.

7.5/10DO NOT BOOK IT FOR THE VIEW. The rooftop area with the amazing view you see only seats 4 tables of two tightly. If you want that area better book it for when they open and for a party or two. We were seated in the “rooftop” area that faced a completely different hillside. Our party and everyone arriving afterwards were sorely confused and disappointed by our view.

6.5/10In a pleasant location, particularly the upper terrace, however, the romantic and otherwise quiet ambiance was overshadowed by the loud, thumping music coming from the bar. What a pity. Food and service were average.

9.5/10This little restaurant was a fantastic find. The views are fantastic and romantic. Served a glass of sparkling wine to start a great dinner. Food quality was excellent, not rushed in a relaxing atmosphere. When time came to pay the bill instead of paying at the table we were asked to pay downstairs at the bar.

9/10Definitely a hidden gem in Florence. Lorenzo and all the staff were friendly and took perfect care of us. Food was nice but the view was out of this world incredible! Must seat at the upper terrace (make sure you email the restaurant directly to request it). A beautiful dinner in a perfect setting, a great souvenir from Florence.

10/10Wow what a find. This was one of the best dining experiences of my life. I wasn’t expecting such an intimate setting. Only 4 tables on the roof and the weather was beautiful we had views all over Florence — not only was the setting stunning the food was as equally incredible. I can’t believe I found this place and would highly recommend !!

10/10This was so good we went back a second time. The food was amazing quality and the service was outstanding both nights and wine recommendations were perfection. The view of the Florence skyline and Duomo at sunset was a memory I’ll never forget. Recommend the duck.

5.5/10The rickety lift that takes you up to The Panorama Restaurant only fits two people in it , (so others have to wait or take the stairs )and then you still have more stairs to tackle before you get to the restaurant terrace which does have a lovely view. There’s also a higher but smaller terrace which really does have stunning 360 degree view. We were sat on the lower terrace . We were welcomed with a complimentary glass of Prosecco with was a nice touch. But when one of our party asked for some Parmesan we were told that the chef had already put it on and we didn’t need anymore! We insisted that we would like still like some please but we were then told there wasn’t any!? The pasta starter was cold. One of the duck dishes arrived bloody and was sent back to be cooked through which arrived when everyone else had finished their meals. The waiter was surly and the food disappointing which is unfortunate as the view is lovely especially from the top terrace.

8.5/10Excellent service, unfortunately the photos that show Florence are only for a few tables. We reserved 3 months in advance and were told we could not have one of those tables. View of the gardens is nice, but the reason we booked here was for the view of Florence.
