I went here the second time after 2023. The place feels fresh and the vibe is very natural. The food is delicious. We ordered the Shrimp salad, Prawns spaghetti and eggs chorizo. The Prawns spaghetti stands out, the sauce is out of this world. Totally recommend.

I booked this restaurant for one reason, to dine on it's lovely outdoor terrace. I explicitly requested a table outside at the time of booking a week in advance. When we arrived there were 2 tables outside still available but the server, Kalhed, insisted that as I reserved on FORK that I was not entitled to a table outside. This was never indicated to me at the time of my reservation and needless to say we were very disappointed. I found Mr Kalhed was not at all professional in telling me if I was not happy I could leave. On a hot Friday evening when everybody was outdoors there was no way that I would be able to get another table anywhere so we remained. Service and food was very mediocre and in the end Mr Kalhed was once again very unprofessional and unfriendly in his customer service rushing us to pay as we were looking over the bill. I will never set foot in this restaurant again and will be sure not to recommend it to any of my friends in Lisbon.

Pao de Canela is located in the cute Praça das Flores, in the Principe Reial area. This square is a vibrant meeting point for young people and it is surrounded by cute cafès, wine bars and restaurants like Pao de Canela. The design of the place is modern and lovely, it has both indoor and outdoor tables and the bathrooms are clean and comfortable. Regarding the food and service I was highly disappointed. First of all, the waiters seem annoyed all the time and are not welcoming. Second of all the food is not traditional Portuguese or “revised” at all. Don’t call Bifana a simple pulled pork or Bitoque a gummy piece of meat served with no rice. It’s okay if you just want to stop for dinner in that area, but if you want to try something typical, choose another place.

Really nice week end lunch with friends and kids. The food was tasteful with fresh ingredients. The kids can play on the little square in front while waiting for the food. Really safe and convenient. Highly recommend

In the leafy Praça das Flôres, the beautiful terrace overlooks the park, and the indoor space is also very comfortable and warm. Service is fantastic, and we had a great conversation with our wait person, very welcoming of us immigrants from EUA. Dogs are welcome too, both indoors and on the terrace. We shared their large cesar salad which was very good, with some interest variations including sliced salami and chicken. The atum (tuna) was excellent with a light sauce, almost like a creole flavor. The bitoque was a good traditional Portuguese pan fried steak, and the friend fries were fresh cut, hot and crispy. For sobremesa (dessert) we had their excellent lemon meringue tart. And of course they have a nice selection of Portuguese wines at reasonable prices. For 2 people the total was EU 54. We've always enjoyed this restaurant and its hospitality.

Excellent food. A busy evening, so service could have been a bit quicker, but friendly and helpful. Lovely setting and great ambience.
