Excellent service and food in a pleasant modern setting.

We were assigned the worst table near the kitchen even though there were plenty of seats and there were not many people when we arrived the restaurant. We made a reservation well ahead of the day and asked for a better table but they refused saying that all tables were assigned by then.. We were the only asians that were in the restaurant and felt discriminated. I don’t recommend going to the restaurant especially if you are asians.

Very good food and an excelente service

Excellent service & food but be warned, the portion size of the main dishes are big! Especially after you’ve filled up on the cover of bread, pate & olives. In hindsight I wish I’d opted for a starter & desert, miss the mains. We definitely didn’t need the side we ordered too. The chocolate mousse was yummy, we managed a half portion to share. Overall I would highly recommend.

I have been probably 10 times to this restaurant over the past 10 years.). Service was very (too) slow at first, the waiting time for drinks and taking order was above desirable. The menu is varied and the wine list deep enough. The food was good but not excellent, lacking some spark. The space is really nice but the noise level was too high, unpleasant

The food was just amazing and the staff is super nice and friendly. We had carpaccio and paté as starters and then razor clam rice and fried soles with açorda as mains, everything was delicious. Prices are reasonable for the quality and location. Recommended!

Very different from what it was in the past when located at Bairro Alto. Still a good restaurant despite different location. Disappointing the fact that one of the dishes we had was extremely salty.

A dish was terribly salty even the cook was willing to recook, but at the end charged us twice because we changed the dish. It should be a replacement not a mean to sell more.

The ambience and the service are impeccable. unfortunately all dishes are way way too salty to a point that they were bitter taste. At the end we had to ask them to return the coriander rice and ask for another portion without salt. I think the food would have tasted much nicer if less salt.

The food was absolutely delicious. This is one of our favourite restaurants in Lisbon because of the ambience, service and food. Fish dishes are fresh and tasty and ending with their chocolate mousse is perfect.

Visited as a couple. Ordered the “Bacalhau fresco escalfado sobre à Brás com emulsao de azeitona preta” which is fresh cod fillet, which is braised in olive oil and sits on top of super thin potato fries with onion and parsley! An amazing plate. The waiter, excellent in his field, described most of the dishes for us which made us want to take all, if possible. Very polite, very attentive, big smile knew how to do his job! pleasant surprise, the final price - which cannot of course be considered as cheap, its excellent - given the circumstances. Will come again!

the room is wide and we enjoyed the caring service. food was very good, cooked with care and catchy to the eyes. The restaurant works very well for business or family or couples. Traditional food with lots of taste.

Food was very disappointing pork over cooked risotto too runny in fact the only good thing were the large prawns. Staff were very distant and uninterested.

I was visiting Lisbon with friends and a colleague recommended here as his favourite (he grew up in Lisbon) and it didn’t disappoint. The steak was amazing as was their famous chocolate mousse. Love how it’s served out of the bowl at the table.

Food to salty , call the attention nothing …

The menu seemed really good, and we were excited to try it out. The starters we ordered (gazpacho, battered green beans and veal croquettes) were lovely. The main meals (tuna steak with french fries and a side of beans, and black pork tenderloin with mashed corn bread and chorizo) were far too salty, so much so that they became too much to eat and we couldn't finish them. We had ordered a bottle of wine at the beginning of the meal, which was lost somewhere in translation and we didn't end up getting the bottle. That didn't matter, as we ended up having two glasses each, but added to the overall odd evening. The restaurant is huge, and whilst we were there early by Portuguese dinner eating standards, it was still fairly quiet when we left so it seemed like there were lots of staff stood around at the bar with not a lot to do. The staff were very friendly and attentive though, so wouldn't fault them other than the wine mix up.
