10/10We were at this restaurant 12 years ago. Same great food, jovial/family feeling atmosphere — had the same waiter as 12 years ago! Our food was fantastic. Highly recommend.

10/10The food here was amazing! I will be dreaming of truffle gnocchi and Florentine steak! Best we’ve had in our 6 days in Italy so far and the service was 10/10! Would recommend to anyone coming to Florence!

10/10The atmosphere was great and I love seeing the open kitchen upon walking into and out of the restaurant. The wait staff was quite friendly with great service. The food was excellent overall and the gnocchi was one of the best dishes I have ever tasted.

Lovely and homely restaurant, food was great and atmosphere was lovely. We were a large group celebrating my birthday and the restaurant was very accommodating and service was amazing. They even organised a cute birthday surprise dessert for me which suited me so well! :)

We really like this place and the service. Only valid point to mention this is the first place in Italy that charged us a “servizio” fee. Not a big deal but just valid to mention. Service was great, food was awesome.

8/10Otto our server was very good. The ambiance was ok because the tables were arranged in a very odd arrangement. The buffalo mozzarella cheese and tomatoes plate was disappointing. We ordered the Florentine Steak plate and while some of the pieces were amazing many of the other cuts had too much fat and were not as good.

10/10Special Appetizer (buttata with Spanish ham) and pasta dish (truffle) for the evening was excellent! The osso buco was just ok. Portion size were large so we shared every dish. Wine recommendation was excellent and service was superior as well. Would highly recommend. We had great table downstairs, though we were sat with all fellow Americans so felt like we were in New Jersey vs Italy at times. Would prefer to hear Italian at next table while in Firenze ;~)

We seated in the wine cellar, and the ambience was magnificent! Meal was great. There were 4 of us and we each had a pasta dish for Primi, and shared the steak that is listed for 2. It was more than enough food. All delicious and done perfectly. We told them we were celebrating a special birthday and they started each of us with a complimentary glass of Prosecco, and finished with a complimentary slice of cheesecake with candle and sang “They say it’s your birthday “ by the Beetles, and a shot of limoncello. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Tables were a little tight but we were comfortable and talked to two of the tables and shared travel stories that added to the fun of the evening. I would HIGHLY recommend…but make sure you have a reservation especially for the wine cellar!

10/10Our table was in the wine cellar which was so romantic. Our waiter helped us find a delightful wine. We shared shrimp risotto and the steak florentine. The presentation was so dramatic. Tasted better than it looked. They only cook it rare but it was yummy. The potato’s were divine. My only complaint was the tiramisu. It was kind of runny. Did not finish. Had plenty of leftovers for sandwiches the next day. Overall beautiful experience. Recommend highly
