10/10A great little gem found in Tirano, a quaint little village in Italy. Six of us dined together the ministrone soup, risotto, and cheesy buckwheat as starters were delicious. Main courses for the group ranged from grilled octopus, filet, pork tenderloin and veal. All were enjoyed. So much food, we couldnt eat dessert.

10/10The food was amazing, good prices and portions! I was looking at reviews before I made reservations and it worried me that the portions would be too small, however this ended up not being an issue at all. Very beautiful spot with an interesting history, highly recommend.

10/10After a long ‘Falwty Towers’ day on Milanese buses and trains we needed to chill out and this restaurant was ideal. Ambience lovely. Cosy. Nice welcome, no waiting. The food was delicious - duck and beef, hot and very tasty. The bread and olive oil was excellent. Wine was v good at €23 a bottle. Service was prompt and friendly. Couldn’t fault this restaurant and it was easy to book online in advance. We would recommend it highly.

9/10The waiter who greeted us was a little abrupt and not very helpful when we asked for some advice on which wine to choose and also barely said thank you when we added a 10% tip at the ens, but other staff members were friendly. Lovely surroundings seemingly an old wine cave (we were sitting downstairs in cellar) HUGE portions and nicely cooked. The only reason I didnt give it five stars was that my starter (cheese balls) really needed some sort of piquant sauce with it as there was an enormous quantity of lovely crisp and rich fried balls but it needed a fruity or slightly spicey sauce to cut through it. Still lovely though and the duck after was also wonderful. Such a generous portion of duck breast with lovely baby vegetables but for me, the same issue as not enough of the lovely sauce that was there. ( i needed a little jug on the side with more sauce) My husband had the smoked salmon which he said was outstanding and the fillet of beef which he said was one of best steaks he has ever eaten. Service was also very quick.

10/10Great find! Weather that evening was awful with severe rain warning so not many people ventured out but this restaurant was packed with many Italians so not a tourist destination. Extensive wine list and good choice of food. Our party had venison chops, pork fillet and duck breasts / all were excellent with the duck breasts slightly coming out n top as the best dish. Had dessert and coffees and whole meal with a bottle of wine was really good value for money. Staff very helpful and friendly. Would thoroughly recommend and it deserves to be one of the best places to eat in Tirano!

10/10We have been in Italy on vacation for a month. We've been to Rome, Amalfi, Florence, Tuscany and Venice and this was as good a meal as we've had on the entire trip. Highly recommended!

9.5/10Amazing food and wines in a wonderful atmosphere. We had a perfect evening. The service was good, could have been a bit more friendly and attentive though. But it was very crowded and so they were quite busy. It got a bit noisy inside due to the amount of people but that didn’t bother us. It was a nice and lively atmosphere. We would come again for sure.

10/10We have been in Italy for 6 weeks and I can honestly say that this is up there with some of the Michelin rated restaurants that we have been to! Well done, lovely place with great food. Highly recommend!

10/10Excellent food and service. Local families and tourist are all welcome here. I tried the truffle pasta dish offered and it was outstanding. Tiramisu was also yummy. If we are ever in this area again we will definitely come back.

9/10The little Restaurant was a very good find, We could sit outside under big umbrellas on the little piazza, the light breeze and the nice meditteranian food brought by the friendly staff was really a holiday. We will come back.

7.5/10Food was otherwise ok, interesting sounding dishes, but far too much salt on everything. Our family had ordered two different pasta dishes and the beef with rosemary potatoes, you could scrape the extra salt flakes off the beef but the pasta was too salty to finish. Staff offered to make up for it with a dessert, which unfortunately we did not have time for.

6/10Due to the reviews on TA , we decided to dine in this restaurant. The atmsphere is hot, there is no ventilation and no windows, the whole construction is like a cave. Menu- was hard to find somerhing "normal", all the combinations are strange . Nothing to do with the italian cusine. How do they serve here, at the most northern point of Italy, sepia? Anyway, it was very badly cooked The filet was very good quality and perfectly cooked, the side dish was bad and insuficient. The salad we ordered was also bad, too much choped . Tiramisu was bad, the biscuits inside were tough as sole.

We are sorry that your experience in our restaurant was not entirely positive, but I would like to clarify a few things. The beauty and peculiarity of the place is the position in the cellars of the historic Parravicini building from the 1600s. The room where you dined has a ventilation and air purification system that maintains the temperature between 23 and 24 degrees, I would say optimal. The menu features traditional Valtellinese dishes, meat, fish and vegetarian dishes and has been designed for local and non-local customers. Best regards The owner Stefano

10/10Found this restaurant by default and were not disappointed. Choice to sit inside or outside, we chose outside. Staff were outstanding so helpful and courteous. The food was the best we have eaten whilst on our trip so far. Cannot recommend this restaurant for quality and good value for money

10/10Everything was perfect. When we arrived I informed them that it was my husband's birthday and they were very accommodating when we requested a quiet table inside. The food was delicious and the presentation of each dish was beautiful. The lavender cream that accompanied the porcini ravioli was unque and wonderful.. Every dish was cooked to perfection. The mango mousse and creme brulee were sublime. Although they were busy, the service was impeccable. Highly recommended.
