Fantastic, experimenting food with creative combinations

We were seated immediately and given water, but that was the only positive part of the experience. We then waited over 20 minutes before anyone came to our table. When someone finally arrived, there was no welcome, no explanation of the menu—just a curt “give us your order.” We asked about drinks and were told the sommelier would come by, but after another 15 minutes no one ever showed up. At that point, we gave up. In total, we sat from 8:45 to 9:20 and had nothing but water. Meanwhile, every other table seemed to have 3–4 staff attending to them, which made us feel completely ignored and unwelcome. When we explained we were leaving, the response was dismissive and full of attitude. We’ve dined at multiple Michelin-starred restaurants across Italy, and the service has been outstanding everywhere else. Here, it was the worst experience of our trip. Honestly, the pizza place across the street that we settled on was far more welcoming and ultimately enjoyable.

The food was beautifully presented with many surprises along the way. Everything was fresh, interesting and excellent. The service was very attentive and everyone was pleasant. Pascucci al Porticciolo is truly a Michelin star experience.

Outstanding food and service. The whole meal was beautifully choreographed with the food as the star of the show, with supporting wine choices and wonderful ambience. We will be back!
