4/10Food was too salty, and the only comment from the Chef was that « it’s how it’s supposed to be ». I have no intention to go back. However the person who attended to us was kind and nice. So service was not to blame for the poor experience, only food quality. The price was also very high for the quality of the food

9.5/10Best traditional Roman carbonara outside of Rome I’ve had yet. It was just far too hot inside, but to be fair, there was a heat wave the week I went. Fantastic.

5.5/10The food was really disappointing! My pasta was drowning in oil. I have asked for a Carbonara for my 4 years old without pepper, it arrived with lots of pepper and had an unpleasant, undercooked egg taste. I am no chef but my Carbonara is better. We paid 125 chf for the 3 of us and I did not even like the food.

7.5/10Unfortunately another restaurant that decreased in quality over the years. It used to be excellent, and the service still is, but now it has become average. The ingredients are still of high quality and the ideas are nice, but it seems like the chef is gone and there is just someone combining the ingredients without really understanding. Hope it was just that the chef was on vacation and we will be back to give it another try later.

5/10The restaurant menu and pictures look great. We went once, and had great service from the waiter, and they had a patio. My food was not very good, very oily and HIGHLY under-seasoned, but it was refreshing that the restaurant had a corkage fee. I ordered the squid ink pasta with bottarga and burrata and the pecorino, tuna and sechuan pepper pasta. I asked for very light oil. The squid ink pasta came drenched in oil, with no salt, and almost no ingredients other than pasta and oil. The pecorino was good, because its pecorino. I do have to say there home-made mafalde is delicious. My partner wanted to try again, thinking we had made the wrong choices, she works in food and wine (has her WSET III). I grew up in Rome so I know good pasta. The second time, the service was not great, everyone acted scared or annoyed. It seemed a lot of people had cancelled reservations. Again they brought the bread and butter 5 minutes before our food, but drink orders were taken as we sat down. All the other tables received an amuse bouche but us. The butter was great, and the bread was good, but quite oily. We ordered the tuna tartar, pasta with lamb ragu and burrata, two sheep's cheeses, and the eggplant in chocolate. The tuna had zero seasoning as did the pasta. The pasta was so heavy and the plate was just soupy with all the oil pooling at the bottom, it was difficult to eat it without getting it all over yourself. It definitely lacked any salt or pepper AGAIN. It literally tasted like NOTHING. The same thing with the dessert, it tasted like they had just boiled baking chocolate over steamed and unseasoned eggplant. The cheese tasted old. I am a cheese connoisseur and love stinky weird sheep's cheese, but this was clearly stale cheese that was getting that old couch funk. It was inedible. I have no idea how this level of food is being passed off as high-level cuisine. The whole night, there was no music in the restaurant so all night you just heard the clanging of the staff cleaning or arranging fork's and knives. I feel bad to write this review, but people are paying good money for good food and service. My recommendations to the restaurant if it wants to keep steady returning business: 1. Service with a smile (it's called hospitality), I shouldn't feel like I barged into your home. 2. Music in the dining room, atmosphere. 3. Bring the bread early when you take drink orders. 4. Season your food, hold back on the oil a bit because it dilutes all the seasoning. Add more protein to the food, cut a bit of the fat and keep making your home-made pasta. Replace your cheese and keep it in an air-tight container, taste it to check freshness everyday before you serve it. 5. Pay that first waiter extra because I guarantee he is holding up half your business. You also have a waitress who does the interior and bar, she is great and competent. For heaven's sake do not cycle multiple wait staff to the same table. I hope you take these comments seriously and do well in the future. I would be ashamed to serve this level of food to people in my home.

9.5/10First Italian restaurant in Lausanne that my Italian friends approve :) Elegant and quiet atmosphere. I recommend sharing the tuna and avocado tartare with passion fruit and the grilled and marinated seabass with creamed sweet potatoes was just the perfect combinaison of crispy and creamy! My group enjoyed the burrata , fresh pasta and the wild boar fillet strudel in filo pastry, whit lardo di colonnata, apple and raisins.

5.5/10Disappointed because we had to ask the waiter 3 times to come and take our order. When we received our dishes they were cold. Pity because the pasta could have been excellent if served at the right time and the right temperature......

8.5/10In short: Calm and nice atmosphere, great service, very good food. Expensive, but that's normal in Switzerland. People, occasion: four friends (two couples), festive dinner a few days before Christmas. Price: four starters, four pastas, 3'5 desserts (one was a half-portion) and a very expensive bottle of wine for 430fr. When I say expensive wine I don't mean costly, costly would be OK, but 145fr for something you can buy for about 50fr is expensive. Anyway we were celebrating Christmas so we went for it. Food: starters were all great. Two of the main course pastas were great, two were nice, not fantastic. Same with desserts: two were great (try the melanzane cioccolato!), two were just OK (passion fruit crème brulée). The issue is with the description, it was a passion fruit cream but not at all like a crème brulée, so it generates false expectations. Service: good, not "very good" since he forced me to order a half dessert because it was "too rich". Warning appreciated, but don't impose. We'll be back!
