Beautiful setting in the garden. Starters and main course options included some unusual options, like tuna tartare with basil oil and orange and sea bass ravioli with scallop and pistachio sauce. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable and welcoming and the food was clearly lovingly prepared and presented.

We went on first night to Venice & it did not disappoint! Close to hotel would have loved to sit outside but a bit too chilly that night. I had a great pizza & hubby had steak. Both enjoyed!

Excellent service for our last night in Venice. Found it as it was nearby the hotel where we were staying in the Cannaregio district. The food and service were top notch. Wish I had found it a day earlier for a birthday dinner, it would have been perfect. Full menu with options for any taste. Next trip to Venice, we will definitely be going back!

La Patatina di San Giacomo was a wonderful experience start to finish. The food was fresh and beautifully prepared. Service was excellent. Even the house wine was delicious. Highly recommend a visit. We sat in the rear terrace, but they also have a front cafe on the piazza and indoor seating.

This was a lovely restaurant to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. We dined in the peace of the garden terrace. Food and service was excellent. We shared the grilled shrimps main as a starter, had the clam linguine and then sea bass as a main. We finished with millefoglie and mint tea. All delicious. The bottle of Lugano was fabulous. Thanks to our hotel for this recommendation.

We were extremely happy with our dinner here. Seemed like we were part of the neighborhood. Kids were playing soccer around us. Folks were walking their dogs. Didn’t feel touristy. And, the food and staff were fabulous!

This restaurant was recommended by a friend and we couldn’t be happier. The food was just delicious and the atmosphere around was lovely. Set on not a touristy square, it was surrounded with children playing football and locals resting on benches. Quite a charming and relaxing setting. Our pasta was scrumptious and tiramisu was very good too. The service was attentive. We’ll definitely be back and recommend to others.

Food was delicious - the place was recommended to us by a friend. Great seafood dishes. The noise level was loud there, but only because a large British group was eating there at the same time as us. The staff was quick and professional. A great time!

La Patatina (San Giacomo) is one of our favorite spots in Venice. Last night, we enjoyed three incredible selections from the special menu. The Moscardini were tender and delicious. I had the most amazing branzino ravioli with a pistachio scallop sauce. Out of this world! My husband had a delicious sesame seared tuna. Top notch. We shared a millefoglia for dessert. It was so light and delectable! The wine (Lugano) was also wonderful! We will return in a few days!

Had a delightful meal seated in the garden area. Husband had scallops to start (the best he has ever had). He then had a steak which cut like butter. I had the fish of the day - sea bass, it was filleted at the table and served with roasted vegetables- all cooked to perfection - would highly recommend
