10/10Amazing food. Ate here 6 years ago when we were last in Portugal and it was as good, if not better than before. Will definitely go back.

10/10Great experience overall. The starters were amazing (bruschetta & mushrooms) and the main courses were also great 2 pizzas and a salad. I truly recommend this place.

4/10Food was average. Service disappointing. Felt like we were inconveniencing staff by being there. Not the restaurant it used to be. Had to lift my starter plate for main to be placed. No clean cutlery after starter. After frequenting this place for 20 years mot sure we’ll return.

6.5/10we come to Paulus very often but tonight found we were neglected in favour of a bugger party the staff kept going up to larger party to check all ok every 5mins we however got left we finished our starter and took 33mins for us to then have to ask someone to take our plates another 30mins for main course and we then waited 42 mins for someone to (again we had to ask!) remove our plates a further 17mins for someone to ask if we would desserts which we said yes please and placed our order to then wait a further 24mins for me to then call someone over to explain and she did get us our desserts meanwhile another 3 member of staff went up to larger party (next to us) to ask if all ok ??!!! such a let down and obviously concentrating on bigger parties rather than regular people who come in and always have a three course meal! i understand they are busy but seemed more effort in the larger party and if i’m honest completely ignored us

We were a group of 16 and the food was lovely. From pasta dishes to pizza! The spinach starter was very tasty. It’s a big restaurant & we had a long table for my friends 60th. They also put birthday celebrations decorations on the wall which was lovely. The restaurant was very busy & at times it was difficult to catch the eye of the waiters for more drinks. Other than that I would recommend.

10/10This was the second time we had visited Paulus in a week. The garlic bread with cheese and garlic mushroom starters were fantastic. The seafood linguine was full of delicious sea food.. The spinach lasagna was creamy and full of flavour . The lasagna and canelloni were fabulous too.

9/10Service and atmosphere was excellent. Couvert was great, nice touch on the garlic butter and olives were delicious. Pasta was good but plain, not much flavor/spices. Dessert (Tiramisu) was very good too.
