7.5/10Fish restaurant, good food. We had one Vegetarian with us. They only have a Vegetarian salad on the menu. After asking , they could make a nice sandwich as well. The old waitress is not very friendly, no flexibility. The other waiters were very friendly.

10/10The fish was good quality and absolutely delicious. But most of it, we appreciatted the time the server took to explain the dishes and answer all our questions about local fish vs imported fish and seafood on the menu. The halibut stew was exceptional, and so was the fried cod. The eel soup was also a nice and tasty discovery, just as the entire meal. Thank you.

10/10The food was absolutely outstanding! The eel melted in your mouth and the fish was so fresh, moist and tasty. The vegetables served alongside the fish dishes were unusual and supdrb. We highly recommend this restaurant and if our travels ever bring us back to the Netherlands, we will surely come back here!

10/10This restaurant was on our must-to-do list during our Euro-trip - I finally wanted to eat fresh, good eel. I do not regret any penny, food is awesome, crew very pleasant and helpful. We could take our dog with us, what was another great news. Thank you guys for a great time!

10/10It was wonderful: the food (do try the smoked eal!), the place and how nice the staff was. The owner even spoke (perfect) Spanish with us. Totally recommendable!

9/10The fish is top quality. The waiters very nice and helpful. I had a list of things I could eat because of I tolerances and they did a delicious meal for me. I asked for fresh fruit as dessert, they brought a bowl of fruits with gember syrup that was delicious.

10/10Happy we made the trip to Volendam. Apart from the charming town, the restaurant was as also a lovely respite. The interiors were lovely and when the food arrived, absolutely superb. Will definitely come back again to celebrate another milestone.
