Overall was a great experience. We went for lunch and the food was fantastic. The service was a bit slow at the beginning, but evolved throughout and the staff were more attentive towards the middle and end. Highly recommend the Pekin Duck and Cumin Lamb! Definitely will return in the future.

We chose the Chinese New Year menu for two persons which was very good in terms of variety but far too copious. To start there was an enjoyable lychee cocktail. The starters were good and diverse. Among the numerous main dishes the Peking duck was tasty but another dish was far too spicy. Also the filling of the dumplings was rather stodgy. The desert was disappointing as it consisted of a plate of grapes and oranges, but the waitress kindly replaced the grapes with lychees. When we pointed out that the quantities were excessive we were informed that this menu for two persons could be shared by three. Overall a very pleasant experience and excellent service.

This restaurant no service, everything have to wait long time, and also there is no discount to me, my booking should have 30% discount, but finally the bill not showing discounts, food was ok, but you can’t expect service if come here,

+4The ambience and the food. We are more used to US restaurants where dinner plates, cutlery and sauces are generally available on the table. Here we had to ask for everything. This is probably Swiss style. Servers could have been a little more friendlier and knowledgeable about their own dishes. But overall a great experience!

I don’t usually leave bad reviews, but the food and the service at Pekin Palace was exceptionally poor. We first tried the chicken appetizer, which was delivered cold and without flavour. When we asked to try something else instead, they refused and insisted we would pay for it anyway even if we didn’t eat it. That is unacceptable at any restaurant. The duck soup was good, but then we had some dim sum, and while the shrimp dumplings were ok, the chicken dumplings were completely dried outcome like they had not been cooked enough and by that point we couldn’t even get the attention of the server to tell her about it. At the end of the meal, we pointed out that the dumplings were not edible, and she refused again to remove them or the appetizer from the bill. I’ve had dim sum all over the world, and never seen such dry dumplings. Avoid this place as there are many other good options in the area.

We chose this restaurant for our Chinese New Year celebration, it turned out to be a truly memorable experience.. The staff showed us warmth and professionalism, and the New Year menu offered a delightful array of well-balanced choices. Each dish was expertly prepared, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.
