3.5/10The ordered tapas dishes came together after 2 minutes, so all the food was pre-made. Seemed like they just wanted us out of the restaurant as fast as possible. So it was a very bad experience.

5.5/10We have been seated in the back room very far from the main one on the street- it’s behind the kitchen and feels like we were being punished for having booked a table instead of waiting in the queue outside and being counted of the happy few who get the good seating. The back room is reserved for the tourists groups and very loud - you are served very or too quickly for the food to feel fresh enough or « made with love » it felt like the food factory for tourists. The waiter kept asking every five minutes if we were done ( it took us less than an hour to eat, while we were expecting a good time and slow night with a good wine) … not happy with the experience - an advice : don’t book your table, go wait on the line and wish for the best!

3.5/10we were a large group and very pleased to have tables together. However, we were not told that the plates were so large for sharing and ordered three times as much food as we should have. The food was not very appealing and hardly any got eaten. Very disappointed.

4.5/10We went here on our first night in Seville. Safe to say it was disappointing. Croquettes were very nice however spinach with chickpeas were just a green tasteless mess. We waited so long for our pork cheeks we had actually forgotten we ordered them & had asked for the bill. Overall, a disappointing visit.

8/10A really nice place just around the corner of the Cathedral. Please be aware that the food you order will be served within a few minutes so if you want to have a long evening meal you're not in the right place. The food is okay-isch, not really good but also not bad.

10/10Great dishes that passed for more traditional tapas despite being in a more touristy area by the cathedral. The front area by the bar looks more traditional and we were sat in the back room but it soon filled up and had a good atmosphere as well. Staff were helpful and attentive, tasty food and good atmosphere.

10/10We booked on a whim just because we were having trouble getting into places for lunch. Glad we chose this place! Service was amazing and we had an easy time communicating with them although neither of us were great at the others language. Food was authentic and delicious. Price was a little more than you’d find off the tourist path but it was worth it for the great service, ambiance, and food. Will go back next time we are in Seville!

2.5/10Tapas was poor- 'mixed chicken' was actually 2 overcooked chicken goujons, the salmon was very small. All tapas dishes were underwhelming and served with soggy chips. There was a long wait in-between getting served each tapas dish and we had to ask several times where some of our tapas dishes were. Service was poor- given one menu to share between us, no cutlery and had to ask for some, no straws provided with sangria, waitress didn't ask us how our food was or if we wanted a desert. We wouldn't return Pelayo bar, not would we recommend.

6/10Nice little restaurant, but waitresses were so busy that they just dropped the plates to the table and that’s it, no smiles or proper service. It was little disapointting.

6/10Really disappointed. The menu on the website is showing tapas choices and prices for almost all the dishes and on the restaurant, it's almost only plates prices, so basically is taking away the possibility to order more than 3 plates. All the plates we ordered were served with French fries, so you have a massive portion of French fries with everything. Not was I was expecting

5/10We had a bad experience at this restaurant, they are not interested in serving you, just taking your money and getting you out as soon as possible. Uninspiring food choice, we ordered fillet steaks, the staff asked us how we wanted them cooked and then had no idea whose was whose when they brought them out. As it was, all steaks were very undercooked and we sent them back. They came back cooked with the rest of food on plate cold. When we told them, the waitress just rolled her eyes, so rude!! One of our party of 6 didn’t get their meal for 20 minutes after the rest of us. The restaurant looks nice from the outside and some of the food, depending on what you order, was tasty. It’s just too busy, not enough trained staff so I wouldn’t recommend.

I stumbled upon this place on the net . Not usually very fond of any touristy place but I have to say this place was a true gem . Arrived at 7:15 by 8:00 the place was full like there’s no tomorrow. If you are looking for good honest food -a tad salty granted but hey it’s a tapas place- this should be on top of your list while you are in Seville . Right on the corner of the Cathedral the value for money is incomparable.Start was off with a miss on my drink but then the bartender came and made my aperol right in front of me . Hats off for him. My waitress Anna was one of a kind , super helpful and patient with me - Alma other waiting staff were super efficient and friendly but Ana was waiting my table so we obviously connected . Note to the owner I m from the industry and we both know how hard it is to find and keep the right staff especially post Covid . You are very lucky to have this lady working for you . Take note and make sure your staff are happy . . Had several -maybe too many -dishes but all them made me feel like I was eating at a Mama’s place . Wine list is decent took a surprisingly great Godello from Pagos de Galir which was the perfect match with my seafood/ vegetable based tapas and dishes. Left with a very happy stomach without hurting my wallet . I had the olives at first with my drink , followed by Gambas Al Ajillo ,tomatoe soup , fried cuttlefish , grilled artichokes and the oxtail ( I know might sound a lot lool) The artichokes to me were simply put divine . It combines the earthiness of the artichokes with the salinity of eel and bounces back to the sharp flavor of crispy bacon on a carrot based purée . Texture , taste like tennis courts in your palate . A great experience I wish I could share one more time along with my best friends . It s one of those places you wished you could experience not alone but what food is all about : sharing a memorable time with your loved ones . Now if you drop by Seville and wonder where to go for dinner for a no frill , enjoyable meal do yourself a favor . Enjoy and just send some positive vibes while you are there might head right back to me .

+1This place was a good tapas restaurant! Definitely not the best in Sevilla, but a solid place for lunch or dinner. The pork cheek was very good along with the baked goat cheese with pepper jam. Other things were just okay. Environmental and staff were nice.

6.5/10Not impressed with the service. The waiters were rude and wanted us to quickly order food. We felt very pressured as they kept coming over as soon as we sat down at the table. The food was great, but the service was not.

2.5/10This restaurant is dirty. It seems it has never been cleaned. You will find yesterday's guests' pieces of food under the tables... The food is bottom end quality, shame on Spain. Waiters do not care too much about guests. A place to avoid.

4/10This place is recommended in one of southern Spain sites for robo de toro (oxtail) and it was a complete disappointment. There was almost no meat and you can barely cut with a knife. Afterwards we went to another restaurant to complete! the dinner.
