We had the Melanzane and the truffle pasta with the panna cotta and coffee hazelnut ice cream. Everything was amazing, cannot recommend this place enough, especially if you're staying at the hotel next to it

Took 20 minutes to get seated, then further 30 minutes before we were even given a menu. People were waiting in the rain despite reservations. Severely understaffed

A neighborhood gem restaurant just down the street from the Hotel Jakarta. Food, service and ambiance are excellent. A fine dining experience overlooking the Het IJ river and escaping the hustle & bustle of Amsterdam Central train station and city center.

A lovely Italian restaurant - great atmosphere - food was delicious - loved the theatre of having a flaming cheese wheel at the table and making the pasta in the cheese wheel - it was so tasty - and the staff were friendly - would recommend.

From the moment you enter you can feel that everything in this restaurant is as it should be. Tasteful interior, open kitchen, friendly Italian staff, the vibe of a place that is run well, and has returning customers, even if it is situated in the middle of nowhere (though close to the wonderful Hotel Djakarta). But that has the advantage that parking is easy. Of course we tried the tagliatelle seasoned by mixing it with Parmesan in a huge, hollowed out round cheese. Excellent dish, as were the classical desserts. I would even dare to take Italian friends here... And to top it all, prices are moderate by Amsterdam standards.

Menu on the fork and also trip advisor bore no relation to the actual one with no dishes suitable now for my son. They have stopped doing pizzas and menu is small and lacks variety. We asked about pizzas and they said they had just stopped doing them and website menu has just changed so need to look at that now.Food tasted ok but was nowhere near hot enough and very expensive at 20euro for some pasta with tomato and cheese. I detailed my complaints to the management but they didn’t seem particularly interested. Overall a disappointing experience.

Nice restaurant. Starters delicious. Main couse mwahhh... . Too crowded, the acoustics intolerable. Unbelievable that people think it is appropriate to bring toddlers into any restaurant.

We ate at another branch of Pepe Nero and it was the best of our stay in Amsterdam, but since it was closed for a holiday, we went to this branch for our last dinner out. Unfortunately it was not as wonderful. particularly by comparison. So I highly recommend Pepe Nero on Oosterparkstraat- charming italian waitresses, outstanding food.

Authentic Italian dishes made with good ingredients. Kind and alert service non pretentious all Italian. Easy parking right in front of the ristorante. Molto piacevole.

Lovely little restaurant with wonderful staff, a fab ambience and absolutely delicious food. Will definitely be coming back here next time we’re in Amsterdam.

Good food, good pizza, nice environment. Service was so-so: not actually terribile, but the waiters seemed ill-tempered and distracted - maybe they were upset because they could not watch the World cup final?

Warm welcome, nice table, good service, delicious food, good portions, decent wines, fair prices. We recommend to give it a try...especially the pizzas and the Spaghetti with the huge flammed cheese!

Best real Italian restaurant in amsterdam in my honest opinion. Pizzas are made based on the classic Italian kitchen and not some kind of Western European- American hybrid. The people who work here are passionate about the they serve. Quality ingredients with quality hospitality

Really authentic Italian restaurant. I loved this place and it was the most perfect night out . The food is sublime, the service is efficient and attentive and there was a great buzz in the restaurant. 5 stars all the way!
