8/10Nice place and excellent seafood. The flow of the ordering is a little different. You walk in and before you are seated the server brings you to the fish counter to order. It might be better to sit the customers first.

10/10This was a new experience for us. The staff was very ready to explain how one could either pick their fish and method of cooking or one could choose something for their ready menu. The food was delicious. An amuse bouche of fried anchovies was light and tasty. We chose some fried sardines as an appetizer. Our dishes were orecchiette with octopus and pasta with mussels, ( already out of their shells) Very good. The restaurant is very pleasant. I would categorize it as casual, white tablecloth. Would definitely return.

4.5/10I guess it could work to pick your own fish or seafood if that was guided, it was not :-( tun tartar with jalapeno lacked jalapeno, fritto misto was underfried, the raw prawns had not had even had the brown line removed, grilled snapper was bland. The chicory over cooked. All in all a bland experience

5.5/10We had to wait in a queue for 5 minutes to order at the fish bar with our coats still on like at McDonalds before we were taken to our table. Most of the food was good but cannelloni had obviously sat under a heat lamp for too long and was hard. The worst part was being handed the bill (without asking for it) after dessert without being asked if we wanted any coffee. When we asked for a coffee when it was brought grudgingly we were rudely told to drink it quickly because they wanted to close the restaurant. It wasn't even 10.00 yet and it was a 08.00 reservation. Other patrons experienced the same rude experience - 'pay and get out'. It was Christmas Eve so I understand staff wanting to leave early but you should have at least given advance warning of an early closure at booking time or when we arrived.

10/10High quality seafood restaurant with a twist-you get to literally choose the seafood you will eat. We had a number of pastas that were all delicious, salmon, frito misto and salads.. We wouldn’t order the salads again as they were iceberg lettuce and unripe tomatoes. The wine list is reasonable and so was the pricing of the dinner. The atmosphere is lovely. Would definitely come back again.

The food was excellent and served promptly. This fish restaurant is unusual in that you go up to the fish counter, where all the produce is laid out on ice, select the fish you want and then go to your table and wait for it to be cooked. A great idea but I found it hard to understand the choices and how it worked, even though the menu was translated into English. When the food came it was beautifully fresh and well presented, almost raw it had been grilled so lightly. Really good, I’d go again, but probably in a larger group of 4 or more so you can have a selection of fish and share across everyone

3.5/10The atmosphere in the place was nice but the food was such a disappointment. Everything was completely bland with absolutely no flavour. After serving our starter and main, the staff did not come over to check how our dishes were so we didn’t have a chance to mention that we were not happy. The wine was good, the bread and the sides mediocre. Our mains were so bland that my partner left 3/4 of a fish that cost 70euros. The quality of the food was absolutely not worth the price. Do not go here.

10/10We dined here the other night and had a wonderful experience. The place, the service and of course, the food, were all exceptional. Oysters, scampi and fried anchovies. Taste treats each. Celiac, is not a problem. Thank you.

7/10The food--we had Sea bass--was excellent. The concept of the restaurant includes having the patrons set their menu by choosing from the array of fresh fish and shellfish displayed on a bed of ice. There was a good selection of wines for our taste and budget. The experience would have been much more enjoyable if the staff had been warmer in their greeting, explaining the process, and seating us at our table rather than just pointing at it. In fact being seated on arrival with a little explanation of the menu and selection process would have been nice. We came away with the feeling that these folks don't enjoy what they are doing.

9.5/10Absolutely amazing food, you won't be disappointed! The octopus is the best we have ever had! The let down was the toilet, no soap or paper and we had the resavation for just after they opened at 7:30 pm.

10/10This is a very special and unique restaurant. You select your fish when you arrive and the style in which you would like it cooked … grilled, fried, Mediterranean. It is weighed and sent to the kitchen to be prepared. You also select the accompaniments. The fish is fresh, the preparation perfect. We went back a second night after our first visit. Don’t miss this when you are in Lecce!

4.5/10Extremely poor service from staff who were surly and unhelpful. Food was unremarkable with no explanations given about how the fish would be cooked, what would be served with it and no information was given on what side dishes could be ordered either verbally or from a menu. We were charged for service although we weren’t offered any bread or oils to have with our meal. The individual who dealt with our bill literally did not speak to us - he was extremely rude.

8.5/10It is a bit confusing when you go in as you are recommended to choose fish before sitting down and having a drink! Not normal for us. We want to sit down, relax and have a drink while thinking about what we want to eat . Food excellent but perhaps a Maitre D is needed to help folk through the ordering process

9.5/10The restaurant is surprisingly good, even for locals like me. It serves fresh sea caught fish, you can tell it by the taste and by the look. Being able to select the fish by yourself is indeed a plus. No frozen seafood or factory fish.

4/10Disappointing experience. The process of having to “choose your fish and select items on the menu” before even sitting down at the table was very confusing. We had to stand in line with 10 other people, while the restaurant staff had a really hard time explaining what the dishes included or even recommending anything. People were getting annoyed at how disorganised it was and we hadn’t even sat down. Once at the table, the restaurant staff would forget to get the wine, drop the plates etc. The food was really average for a very hyped up restaurant. The raw fish was not very tasty, the fried fish was really ok and the tiramisu average. Finally to pay the bill we still had to stand in line at the counter with 5 other people to pay- which is surprising for a 100€+ dinner for two people. Overall a disappointing experience, we were really excited to try it.

10/10Excellent sea food dishes with chance to pick your pieces of fish directly yourself; great local white wine to accompany the meal. Service flexible and attentive, space and decor good and background music just right. Highly recommend this restaurant and thank you for a great meal!

5.5/10The food was ok, but nothing special. We didn’t like that you have to order standing in front of the board where the menu was written, before sitting down on a table. Tip: bring a board to the table so guest can first sit down and relax. And have some time to decide what to order. The prices are ok for fresh fish.
