10/10We sat down just after a table of 15 was seated. We expected a long delay for our meal, but it arrived in a timely manner. The steak was cooked to perfection as was the rest of the meal. The meal prices were very reasonable priced. The wine selection was good, though priced slightly higher than other places. Don't let that stop you from dining here. Our meal was one of the best we had while visiting the area.

10/10Pestello is locate in the country N. of Castellina in Chianti. Beautiful traditional setting in a wooded area along the roadside. Mostly locals dining with some travellers. Seemed to have a focus on beef and game dishes. We had steak and veal. both were cooked to perfection. The host is extremely personable and interacted with all of the tables. A fun, happy place to be. Great wine list as all restaurants in this area have. We would go again.

9.5/10The place was really beautiful and the food delicious!! There was only one waiter for the whole place so it took a bit longer to eat but that is also the Italian way. I highly recommend you visit this restaurant while in Poggibonsi!!

10/10we know this rustic restaurant near castelina in chianti for 25 years, coming back again and again when in tuscany and never disappointed. excellent fiorentina steak and ravioli, great home-stile soup, good wine. in two words: highly recommended!

Great experience. Very welcoming staff. Had a few good laughs with the waiter somewhere between Italian and English. Very dog-friendly. Great food, excellent meat cooked to perfection. Torta Della Nonna still warm from the oven.

9.5/10We have been coming back to Pestello every year for over 10 years. Its traditional Tuscan fare served with humor, a smile and great service. The food is high quality and local. The Florentine Bistecca is the best. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

10/10I have been returning to Pestello for many years and it never disappoints! The food is exceptional and the service friendly and fast. We even joked with our waiter about the fact that my husband arrived in crutches and forgot them when he left, so good was the dinner he felt instantly better!

8.5/10The Fiorentina Steak for which we came was flawless and tasted great! However, the side dishes, fried potatoes and vegetables, were undercooked and not on par with meat. Deserts were good and our waiter was very friendly and humorous. Overall pretty good.

Friends from the States learned we were in Tuscany and said “You have to go and ask for Pietro!”....we now know why; excellent across the board!! So damn good! We will be back!!

9.5/10Situated next to road in the middle of Chianti this place offers very good Food. We were sitting on the covered terrace. The Starters, the pasta and finally the Fiorentina were really good. Had 2 very nice recommended bottle of red wine. Also the Service was very good and we straight had chemistry with the waiter. For sure we will go back. You should just try it! See you Eric

10/10We have been in Tuscany many times and Ristorante Pestello has been our favorite restaurant, In fact they have been the reason we visit Tuscany in 2018 too!! Everything we had, antipasti Pestello, Truffle ravioli, wild bear picci and bistecca, all of them were exceptional. They have a very good wine list. Fireplace room has the best ambiance in frosty winter days.
