We visited Pícaro 1999 in Alicante and really enjoyed our meal – everything was tasty and well prepared, and the service was friendly and efficient. The pleasant atmosphere and good food make it a place we would happily return to.

Food delivered to the wrong table and then the actual order arrived and the steak was lukewarm so it was sent back. Took over an hour to arrive which was really disappointing.

Very nice burrata salad and had the recommended steak which was cooked lovely, all in all a very nice birthday treat

Ordered premium entrecote 1.15kg/ 75euro. We asked medium rare came out more rare medium. Too many sinew on the meat, so parts were chewy. Tasty but for premium cut we should have got great meat! Service was quick, polite so a n 8 for that.

The food and menu is exceptionel! The service and staff are very friendly and warming. Highly recommend the paella.

Overpriced. The choices for sides is minimal The beef was excellent but the lamb chops weren’t. Ambience wasn’t great, but there were just about 8 guests in total We were a bit early maybe at 19:15

Delicious food! The croquettes and cod were amazing, my husband really enjoyed his steak too. We also had a bottle of local red wine which was really good.

The food was delicious, we only tried the chicken paella but it was tasty. Also warm bread with olive oil and olives was a nice touch. All the waiters were very pleasant. The restaurant has a very nice ambiance.

Great food, service and atmosphere. You can’t ask for more than that! I highly recommend this restaurant. The Seafood Paella was really good.

We shared a Seafood Paella on their outdoor seating with Sangria. The paella had a thin layer of rice was over-cooked and the edges were dry and hard. It wasn't busy at the time, we expected better and the server wasn't friendly, Sangria was ok.
