Came back almost a year to the day after 1st visit and was not disappointed! Fabulous food and waitresses were so helpful with recommendations! Didn’t seem to have orchiette this time but the alternative spaghettini offered was amazing! Only slightly disconcerting thing was the change from beautiful round plates from last year to white bowls which reminded of something you get in a hospital but this did not dim the flavours at all! Excellent food, service and value for money. Thank you.

I live in Bari now, I am from London where service is the key! I am a big believer in this. Often it’s very hard to find a welcoming services here in Bari. With your restaurant I felt welcome, from the moment we stepped in to the moment we left.

Massive restaurant in centre of Bari. Full of people, but still good service and excellent food! We particularly enjoyed a mixed charcuterie and cheese plate to share then pizza and pasta main courses.

First table was beside shrubs which were encroaching the table , second table was ok- no atmosphere and area cold. Bruschetta was ok bread was very hard , pizza was ok - pasta was dry Very disappointed

The pizza was amazing, but the service and atmosphere was woeful. The teenage staff huddled together laughing and joking changing the songs playing throughout the waitstaff would have been fine if they weren’t flat out rude to me. Hoping I just got them on a bad day because I only went there based on the other positive reviews. The service ruined the meal for me though

Food was delightful, the handmade orecchiette were very nice. The rest was of good quality. The staff is very nice and available.

Excellent service set in lovely garden. Pizzas were the best followed by a top quality tiramisu. Highly recommended.

Kind staff who really understands English ( a rare amenity in this town ) . Lots of 'on the house gifts' , among them sweet treats and grapefruit cocktail ( in our case ) . The price was very reasonable , having ordered 2 of the most expensive dishes in the menu alongside a side dish, a desert and a bottle of wine for only 60 euros. Overall great experience . Would definately come by in the future .

Carpaccio wasn’t carpaccio at all. Would not reccomend it. Pizzas were overall good,do not go for the fancy ones in the beginning, order a simpler one.. Had to wait 15 min for the bill. When I asked for card payment,they said I need to go to the exit,because the payment machine is stational. No problem about it,but why did I had to wait 15 min???

Make every effort to eat in Piccinini 28 when you are in Bari. Just outside the old town, with easy parking (Jolly Garage €3/hr), the small unobtrusive entrance hides a very pretty extensive dining area, with cool alcoves, air-conditioned gazebo and courtyard garden seating options. We loved the aircon on a hot summer lunch visit. Try the 8 antipasti tasting menu - its a full lunch for most, or one of their fantastic pizzas (Piccinini28 signature pizza or the Bufala above all others). Good Pugliese Artissn beer Mussa, and a sorbetto al limone to finish. The waiters were friendly and professional and the atmosphere was very very relaxing and comfortable. Not to be missed!
