+3A great find Rome, recommended by our hotel. The waiter suggested the “Surprise” 4 course meal. It was fantastic, 4 appetizers, a pasta and a veal dish w/potatoes. All great! A slice of tart and a limoncello to end it. Great experience, highly recommend!

Food was excellent. It had been 5yrs since my last visit, it was not disappointing. Service was slow, not everyone got their food at the same time.

We were there tonight- was great atmosphere, were served by the owner who was extremely attentive. Food was fantastic ( family had the gnocchi, cacio e pepe, fettuccine alfredo with truffles and steak. It's off the main area but worth the walk. Highly recommend!

This restaurant was recommended to me from a client. I have sent many clients through the years when they visited Rome although I’d never been to Europe. When planning a trip to Rome this Spring it was a must. We were not disappointed. The owner was very happy to please us with the tasting menu

Service was excellent food was nothing special but the worst was the overcooked pasta - had it been properly done al dente overall rating would have been at least a seven. Pity because service was simply perfect
Piccolo Abruzzoperò deve anche dire che avete cambiato il tipo di pasta dai rigatoni com’è consigliato sulla lista agli spaghetti i quali su una base bianca come la gricia non tengono molto la cottura perché vanno mantecati dí più per amalgamare il tutto dentro la padella di cottura dove viene servita al tavolo

food was good but be aware of nickle & dime surprises. menu shown on fork does not list mandatory 15% service on all items ordered. this IS NOT a local Rome, Italy custom. also charge for bread which was not ordered. luckily there was no additional coperto but that would have been much less than the 15% service fee when ordering a full meal. Secondi and side dishes (which were not for shown on Fork menu) are high when factoring in 15% service. it was late and walked far so stayed and just had pasta and not a full dinner like we had planned to save our € and wallet.

Walking into Piccolo Abruzzo you immediately feel like you are in a charming Italian restaurant. The food was outstanding. My family all ordered different dishes and each one was so good. The service was also outstanding. This should be the one priority you have for making a reservation when you visit Rome.

We absolutely loved it here! We felt like we were at family Sunday dinner. The food, service and ambiance were top notch. Highly recommend!

We ordered a la carte rather than the chef's selection, and while the salad was good, the bread was average and the entree I selected (chicken with a red sauce) was not anything special. Had dined here 20 years ago and been so impressed. The limoncello still good however!

At first glance,this unimpressive little Bistro located in a quiet back street in Rome is nothing to get excited about, but once inside, the eclectic decor and warm welcome make you feel happy. The staff are so friendly and the food is rustic, tasty and great value. The impressive meat platter starter is huge and varied and you will definitely not leave hungry. The homemade Lemoncello is delicious too. For a good meal, at a great price, you could do much worse than to make the effort to find Picolo Abruzzo.

A friend recommended this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Food was delicious and the staff was attentive. Since it was my friend's birthday celebration they threw in a few extra treats. We especially enjoyed the homemade limoncello!

I went with a friend here and we had a very nice and relaxed lunch together. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Would definitely reccomend and hope to go back soon!

The waiters were very loud and rude. I only wanted one course and my husband two. The waiters were agitated that I wanted to slowly eat my pasta while he had both the pasta and meat -- but they were so agitated about it. The food was good. The ambience is tight -- some communal tables.

Lovely little restaurant with a good food selection. Not entirely sure if the waiter liked us…gave us a little bit of a cold shoulder until other customers came into the restaurant. Either way, still had lovely ambiance and food.

God little restaurant. Had the surprise menu. Appetizers were really good and the highlight. Te gentlemen running the restaurant really seemed to enjoy the chaos, but the kitchen had some trouble keeping up. Overall good experience.
