New years eve menu was a big disappointment, food was not fresh and service was tired and unattending but on the other hand it was expensive...not again

The server in this restaurant really hustled. It was busy and she worked her tail off getting everyone served. The caprese salad was delicious with burrata and heirloom tomatoes! Lively atmosphere, nice decor and reasonable prices. Best to make a reservation.

The place is nice as is the price. Excellent cooking. And pleasant ambiance. I had an very good risotto. Well prepared with frutti di mare. They have an attractive lunch at a very good price.

Service was really good carbonara wasn’t like anything I’ve ever had. Pasta itself was fresh but carbonara wasn’t carbonara like I’ve made or had at other restaurants. Very cute inside but also very empty and probably for good reasons…

The service was very good, but the food was mixed. Appetizers were all delicious, especially the focaccia. The main dishes were very inconsistent. The children’s steak and fries is essentially a hamburger without the bun. Both that we ordered were served medium rare to children three and below; it was therefore inedible, since their ages need well done beef. The lasagna bolognese was also served completely cold in the middle, suggesting that it was heated from frozen. The pizza, hamburgers, and lobster linguine were all very good. It was overall a very pleasant experience.

The food wasn’t very very bad. We’re Italian and this restaurant is unacepotable. The Lasagna and Trofie Al pesto was all without Salt, tasteless. The waitress told us that the burger was super plain with pomodoro, burger, cheese but at the end was super full of onions, pickles and sauces.

Probably the best Italian meal I’ve ever had! I ordered the daurade and veggies. Incredible! My daughter had the Caesar salad which came on plate atop an edible bowl (seemingly the very light, toasty pizza crust type. It have very fresh, large, and savory Parmesan shavings and anchovy dressing was light and very lightly served which Is refreshing. Generous portions added to the excellent value of the flavor. Curious about the tablé olive oil… hooked! Wonderful table bread for dipping. Service was prompt, professional, timely.. only ordered entree items. Cappuccino was nice as well. Decor is easy to visit, friendly and stylish Italian contemporary with artsy touches even on the table settings. I’ll post photos if permitted. I’d go back again ;)

The waiter lied to us. He said service was not included. This is fairly unusual, so we asked to be sure "service non compris?". He said no. He went on to say we should leave 10% to 20%, extremely unusual for a waiter to suggest an amount. He then gave his game away by saying "what would you do in America?" Clearly he has some bias against Americans. When we looked at the bill, it clearly said at the top "Service Compris.". He just wanted to rip us off.

Very good dining experience for me - excellent food at a reasonable price. Also, this restaurant was very popular and busy which speaks for itself imho.

Les Viviers his history again, but the Bistrot de Viviers lives on. We have many fond memories of the old establishments, The kitchen is in capable hands. The service is friendly, the prices fair and the soupe de poisson is superb. Now, if they were only a little more thoughtul about the music blaring out of the kitchen.
