Food is amazing. Simple and original Galician staples . You can not get wrong with any seafood, shellfish or Galician meats. Their cocido croquettes are delicious and light. Lately, only complain is really crowed seating and are really into forceful reminders if you pass 1.5h meal time, but unfortunately is being the norm with the Madrid over-tourism for the past year.

We had a great time here! The atmosphere inside is relaxing, the service impeccable and the food excellent!

A hidden jem off the Gran Via, the restaurant specializes in Galician food (northwestern Spain region). The waiters were very nice and accomodating, explaining the dishes to us. The food was amazing. For an entrée we chose the "Croquetas de Morcilla con Cebolla" which were delicious. The main was "Picaña Gallega" enough for 2 people, the meat was tender and savoury, really good. As a dessert we decided to share "Tarta de Santiago", it was flaky and creamy without being too sweet. Extremely happy with the overall experience and will recommend it to anyone who visits Madrid.

Pleasant staff. Back dining area rather hot and table very small. Food pleasant , would be good to have more salad / vegetables on the menu. Rice dish very salty.

The best meal of our stay so far! We had three seafood dishes - scallops, prawns and the seafood rice. All three were absolutely delicious. Our waitress looked after us very well. We booked through The Fork and received 30% off our food!

We were early to eat by Spanish standards so only a few 5ables were occupied, but we were impressed by the menu and the service. It was nice to receive a complimentary hors doevres. We (3 adults) enjoyed padron peppers followed by picanha steak, large prawns and a seafood risotto. All meals were delicious and in generous portions. Wine by the glass was also good quality. With “The Fork” discount applied the meal was very reasonable- great value for money and great quality. The restaurant had filled up by the time we left and was buzzing, which we were pleased to see.

A true gem off the tourist path. The staff was amazing very friendly and willing to work with our lack of Spanish. The seafood was fresh and perfectly prepared and the wine affordable and high quality. I would definitely go back when in Madrid

I ordered four seafood dishes. The squids, scallops, and the octopus were great. However, the clams were not cleaned properly and had a ton of sand in them. Service was very friendly, but prices were a bit high.

Delicious food and friendly service. Probably the best croquetas I have had- very creamy inside and tasty. The squid street with onions was tender and delicious. Just a lovely dinner.

A gem. Unfussy, beautifully-cooked dishes from Galicia.

Excellent food. Particularly liked the Bacalao al horno. Service friendly and efficient, especially as one server took care of the whole restaurant.

+4Authentic Galician food in the center of Madrid. Third time at the restaurant. The food is excellent in quality, however, I have noticed that there has been differences in the consistency of the taste. For example, the croqutes were better the last time we were there. The cheesecake was also better and much creamier (less compact), a result of the Arzúa cheese it is made with. That said, the food is the most authentic Galician food I've found in Madrid. My family is from Muros, Galicia and there is even a dish dedicated to Louro (a part of Muros). It is nice to be able to have these tastes when you're far away and craving Galician food!

Very good authentic food from Galicia. Portion of arroz con marisco was a bit small, but otherwise everything was great. Will definitely return!

Acceptable food and ambiance. Could be better. The music was not at all taken care of. Some good Galician traditional music would have been nice.

+1The place is a bar& restaurant. The space is not so huge, but it feels cozy. We ordered pimientos padrón and chipirones louro as first dishes, then we had picaña gallega and arroz marinero as main dishes. Everything was really delicious, we are specially in love with the arroz marinero, cause the flavor was rich and intense. The price was really reasonable for the amount and quality, we paid 45 euro for 2 persons.

The service was attentive and welcoming. The food was simply fantastic.

Well focused menu of Galician dishes. Both types of octopus (pulpo) were delicious, but also raxo and tuna tataki. The wines offered are few but excellent and served at the right temperature. The service was friendly, precise and fast even on Saturday night.

Very Informal place in a quiet street in the heart of Malasaña. We liked the food and the wine. Service and Bill also satisfying all the people.....
