7.5/10Friendly welcome . Very good starter with Tuna . Unfortunately the paella with schrimps for 2 persons was not at the expected level … paella was good but the schrimps were very far from fresh !! ( after tasting we left them aside ) . Advice is ..better not to serve the dish when only old frozen schrimps available ! Based on other nice scores probably we just had bad luck ..

7.5/10We have visited Pico Negro a number of times in the last few years and they have always been above and beyond….Unfortunately this is not the case anymore… Prices have risen significantly and the menu is not close to what it used to be…… It’s still okay but the kitchen doesn’t rock anymore…..and that’s a pity because there were few restaurants on the island that stood out of the crowd…Pico has lost it …

10/10Very good food and service at this restaurant. The menu is a little unusual, but the flood was very good. An appetiser is served and the option of bread with flavoured butters which was very nice. We ordered the grilled steak with mash and peppers. Everything was lovely but the prices were a little high, but as we had a 30% discount with the Fork booking, it was OK. The restaurant does not accept cash to pay. You have to pay by card.

We spent 25 minutes trying to find the place. There is an entrance from the street, but it’s closed and only for hotel guests, which made it difficult to locate. It would help to have a sign with clear directions there. The service was average. We ordered some starters, fish, and fruits, but everything was just okay. For the quality of the food, the price felt quite high. Overall, the experience didn’t match the expectations set by the photos we had seen before.

3.5/10Such a beautiful setting. That’s where it ended. We were sat down with menus no drinks menu. Then waited and waited after 10 minutes we left. There were 3 other tables not even busy . Not good!

This is amongst the best restaurants on the island ! You’ve been here a number of time and never been let down the quality reaches a Michelin star rating - well-made dishes with phenomenal flavors - served in a classy ambience - still fits perfectly the holiday atmosphere. This is an adult only hotel so you cannot bring your kids - but with the new hotel director, finally dogs are allowed (!) which I think is a big way for the hotel

+2Thanks to previous reviews we were aware that the restaurant was in the Mélia Hotel, but you need to go down about 5 floors to the pool area to find it. It is worth the search! We had an amazing dinner there. The food was fantastic and beautifully plated. The servers were terrific and very helpful in explaining the dishes we were considering. Being near the pool provided lots of ambiance. Highly recommended!

7.5/10The restaurant is part of the Melia hotel, which is not mentioned in the TheFork description. The meals were good, even if a little bit cold when they were served. The waiter proposed an interesting white wine, one of the cheapest of the list.

Nice view, excellent service - we even got a drink on the house. Modern fusion cuisine. We had tuna tataki and beef as starters, main course was octopus and salmon. Since we only stay here a week, no time to revisit, but we'll recommend this restaurant to anyone.

+2Guest experience but all the way to the restaurant which is very nice because the entrances through the hotel. we were welcome with glass of Cava ( we’re the neighbors ) which we appreciated of course very much! The starters are phenomenal - between fish and meat they all deserve at 10/10 Main dishes recommended were Octopus and the Salmon - scoring again 10/10 but the Iberian secret was disappointing - reason why the overal score is - almost - a ten (!) The service of the restaurant is extremely well taken care of - the rest of itself is also a very elegant decorated definitely a place to go out for fine dining ! Compliments of the entire team

10/10The restaurant is situated in the Melia hotel which is an uphill walk but we'll worth it. It looks out onto the hotel pool with great views of Adeje. The service and food were excellent.
