Our first time to Trieste and we wanted to have a nice dinner as a couple with the ambience of the sea view….. we made reservations for 7 30. Little did we know it was a stormy night but it surely wasn’t stormy at Pier of the Roof! We were 29 minutes early and they were kind enough to sit us early. We had a table with a beautiful view of the sea. It was such a calming effect like the beauty of the decor inside. The staff was so attentive to our every question and especially the manager Alice and her amazing man and woman combo of servers. Our apologies for not remembering there names. Our dinner was the most freshest seafood we have ever tasted! We felt we were family at Alice’s home with her family instead of patrons at a restaurant! We highly recommend this restaurant not only for the freshest and tasty food but also for the View, Ambience, Price and the amazing staff! We will be back rain or shine!

Very nice restaurant. Excellent and fast service. Good choice of wines. Portions are not very big, but just the right amount for dinner. We really enjoyed it.

One of the nicest locations in Trieste, right in the middle of the marina, great for sunny days to absorb the vitamin sea, or for watching the sea being curled by the bora wind. Whatever you order you can be assured the food is prepared and served with attention to detail. The service is informal but very professional.

Always a fairly decent place for a meal overlooking the sea. Fish dishes are fresh and correctly prepared. Prices are on the steep side, particularly on the drinks. In any case, this restaurant never disappoints.

The place is behind the marina.With the view over the whole golf of Trieste.The tartare of thon and the fish prepared in the owen was exquisite.The waiter recomended the local wine that was the right companion for the food.Service at high standards.The right place for the lunch in a sunny Sunday..

Very stylish an cosy location. The staff is absolutely welcoming and ver well trained! The dishes were great, the wine recommendation fitted perfectly and the tiramisu was outstanding! We liked it a lot. Thank you for the lovely evening.

First I m impressed by “fish soup “ then I asked the chef give one of his favourite dish , I had a very delicious “Polpo come Alla Brace “ brovo Chef Marco Dematte .. 強烈推薦這家，位置優美港囗風景的餐廳！

Cozy restaurant close to the sea when you can enjoy high quality dishes and be served by a professional and kind staff. I might add that the bill was cheaper then expected so I definitely recommend it!

Excellent fish dishes coupled with fantastic wine and a great ambiance. Fresh fish, cooked to perfection and a very beautiful setting. Definitely would recommend. The only small fault was the speed of service, which was on the slow pace side. However, well worth the wait!!
