9.5/10Amazing culinary experience! We ate in the loft and thoroughly enjoyed the set menu as well as guessing the ingredients of each dish. The interaction with the staff made the dinner much more immersive and interesting. The food was top notch. We also appreciated a hello from the chef himself. We would highly recommend this restaurant and the whole experience it offers.

4/10Loved it two years ago. Raves about it to friends. This time, a disaster. Mediocre food. Erratic service. Too bright setting at the Loft. (We booked Gambey and they changed us 6 hours before.) Pierre stopped by to say hi, but it was clear that he was on his way somewhere else - not working in the kitchen. Biggest disappointment of our Paris trip. One star.

9.5/10Always a pleasure. I always bring visiting guests to share this experience. Extra touches would be a printed menu at end or at least one shared during process for visual people to understand the ingredients. Also, the side by side seating at bar is too tight. It seems the layout could be improved for more interaction and more comfort. Will keep coming back.

9/10Always an enjoyable outing. Lovely inventive menu. The starters were the best, didn’t care so much for the duck, not my favorite. Refer their fish plates. Solid wine menu. The chairs at the bar are not comfortable. My dinner companion had to stand because her back was hurting from the chair and difficulty of turning to face me during our meal. Huge fan and will keep returning.

10/10We are Americans from St Louis, Chicago and NYC and Pierre Sang in our opinion is one of the best restaurants we go to. We come every time we come to Paris and it never disappoints. The food is outstanding and unique. The blend of French and Korean is terrific. The ambience is outstanding. Many of the Chefs are English speaking and great guys.

8/10The food and the ambience are excellent. The quality of the food is top and fresh. The idea of a surprise menu is imaginative and encourages tasting and discussion. However, if such a surprise menu is offered, then the service and the kitchen should have the dietary restrictions of the guests under control. In our group we had a pregnant woman and a pescetarian. The service staff knew straight away that this meant that the pregnant woman was not allowed to eat raw meat, fish or eggs. We were also told that we should trust them completely and not look into other people's plates, as everyone always got something slightly different. All in all, the vegetarian got meat in one course by mistake, the pregnant woman got 2x raw fish and 1x raw meat. As we first had to make sure in each course that the vegetarian didn't get any meat and the pregnant woman didn't get any raw meat/fish, the surprise menu was more of a torture for us than anything else. We couldn't enjoy the meal and constantly had to have things returned. Apart from one service employee, no one really apologised to us either. This is unacceptable for a restaurant of this standard and can also be very dangerous for pregnant women/allergy sufferers.

10/10Have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while after reading about it. Made a booking and it just happened to be within walking distance of our hotel. Great variety and execution of the 6 course chef’s menu, along with equally good wines. Highly recommend!

10/10+2This is a must book. Pierre Sang’s 6 course menu is a brilliant concept that was not only delicious but quite engaging and even educational. We had to guess each course (I think we did pretty well) and our server explained the dish after down the garnish. Perfectly paced & portioned courses I have not one complaint other than the meal had to end.

10/10Fabulous place. Apart from a challenging entry, that is, a dark alley with trash bins and uncertain lighting, to get to the doybke stairway to the beautiful space, it was immediately forgotten and all else spectacular

9/10Pierre Sang on Gambey is perfect for a business lunch. The food is cooked freshly in front of your eyes and the flavors are extraordinary. Only downside is that the majority of the restaurant, due to it's small space, is made in a way that you are forced to sit next to each other. Nice for a date, not so nice for a business lunch. Getting one of the few tables available is possible, but needs reservation in advance. That's a minor detail. The place itself is great. It was my second and certainly not last time.

8.5/10The plates are unbelievable. The idea of guessing the food is excellent. Just it is imperative to review the ventilation/extraction power of the hoods because you go out smelling the kitchen... it gets soaked in clothes and hair!

10/10Twice now we’ve eaten dinner at Pierre Sang’s corner restaurant on Oberkaumpf. Those were truly memorable meals. Love being really focused on what you are eating since they don’t tell you until you true to figure it out after eating each dish. The restaurant on Gambey has the same thing going and the food is also fantastic! Going to try his Signature restaurant after the new year holidays!

9/10Had a fantastic meal at Pierre Sang! Although not the best food I’ve ever tried in Paris, it was incredibly good value for the price you paid. And the service was friendly and attentive. I’d recommend a visit to all my friends.

10/10L'atelier Gambey is a genuine hidden gem. Every time I visit, the food, service, and overall experience is excellent. More importantly, M. Sang is actually present, insuring that the meal is delicious and the experience memorable. One of Paris' best!

10/10I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant. It is clearly a labor of love for everyone involved, from the chef to the wait staff. There was no pretension, just wonderful food. Surprisingly, Pierre Sang himself, is visible and engaged in the kitchen and with his guests - something that is very rare among celebrity chefs. It was a memorable evening.

4.5/10Good dishes but we waited a very long time before being installed on our table. (30min later..) Then we really not appreciated to be disturbed by "suppliers" of the restaurant which were drunk and made displaced remarks to us. Moreover we were surprised that nobody tell anything to them. It was the second time we came and for the moment we don't want to come back.
